Selling herself into a marriage contract, Ginny finds herself playing a deadly game, ultimately pitting her husband against her lover and a father against his son. Many twists and turns, depth and evil characters - and a long story of sweet and true love.Category: Long and CompletedNew! Epilogue is up! Yes, I know, the story has been "complete" for a couple of years, but this ending has been partially written for a long time and it ties up some loose ends.
Thanks so much for posting! i love this story very much and its great that you've stuck with it and made it flow so well all this time! love and happy holidays!
Author's Response: I definitely have to thank my beta reader, aerleigh, for much of helping with the flow between chapters. I'm so happy you enjoy my work. Thank you soo much for letting me know.
Draco doesn't remember their past together, and now she's just a Weasley to him. Ginny will do anything -jump through all the hoops, pose as an interior decorator, tap dance -ANYTHING- to break the spell that erased his memory and make him love her again.Category: Long and Completed
i'm not supposed to get impatient because writers obviously have lives outside of d/g (sad but true...) but
I LOVED IT PLEASE UPDATE SOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNN!!!!!!
Author's Response:
OHmygosh, I wish I DIDN'T have a life outside of D/G fanfiction! I wish I could lock myself into a little box with my laptop and some chocolate and just write to my heart's content! Unfortunately, reality bites, on occasion! Don't worry, I'll do my best to honor your request and update soon! Thanks so much! :D
*From the 2008 D/G Fic Exchange* Draco and Ginny compete against each other in The Pike – a professional wizarding tournament that’s also highly illegal. What’s even more illegal is the memory of their one night stand five years ago and how their leftover feelings confuse and distract them until the only left to do is to eliminate the competition.Category: Works in Progress
So i cheated and finished this on the d/g exchange site, and think it was one of the best stories i've read in a long while. I loved the legitimate nature of your characters, and the originality of the idea was refreshing. really sets the standards, thank you!
Trying to escape the pain of her daughter's death, Ginny runs to Pennsylvania to start anew. Almost six years later, a man from her past walks back into her life, reopening old wounds and setting in motion a journey of discovery, sorrow, and joy.Category: Long and Completed
great job...
... although this does get better right? thats my hope!!!
love your characters, believable and ginny isnt flimsy, i like that. Thanks!
I love your ginny, and your draco... both believable yet filled with d/g goodness!!
keep it up! thanks!
Author's Response: No, thank you. =]
mmmmm... i like your explanation as to why they may have kissed, it was a good transition into a gentle moment. ahhh.... *sigh*
thanks! keep it up!
Author's Response: I was very iffy about it. So, thank you.
Thanks so much for the update!! made my day! i hope that your personal disaster or anything else horrible is gone, but your writing is still wonderful. I love how you've simply matured draco and not really changed him for this fic. he still has a lot of the same personality that you'd find in cannon, but he's also different in many ways which make him a great addition to the fic. thanks for everything, good luck!
Author's Response: I did try my best with Draco. He's a difficult character for me to write. I don't mind Ginny. Draco is just a whole other story. I tend to have to go back and think about whether or not something is too too OOC for Draco. I know a lot of it is OOC. But this is kind of how I think that Draco would be if he was forced to raise a baby at a young age.
i liked this, the idea that draco is troubled with what he could lose is adequately described, although he may have jumped from one hand to the other pretty quickly. it seems as though he's trying to decide whether its worth it to fight for what they could have or staunchly defend what they have in friendship, and calculating all of the risk on the side. all in all a good addition to the story. it also seems as though we're building up to where the secrecy will blow up in their faces.... thanks!
Author's Response: I won't comment on the secrecy blowing up in their face. I will comment on Draco's thoughts. He is, like you said, battling with whether or not to hang onto his relationship. The reason why I showed him jumping from one hand to the other is to show how he feels when he's not around Ginny and when he is around her. His feelings are all over the place and he doesn't really know which one to choose at this moment. You hit the nail on the head when you said he is calculating all the risks. I think Draco is the type of person to wigh pros and cons. Thank you for the review. I absolutely loved your insight.
ahhhhh!!!!! duh duh duhhhhhhhhhhh!
i love you and i hope this works out! Thanks! good luck in future updates!
Author's Response: Aw, I love you too. And it will. All will end well...hopefully.
Both love and hate this chapter, love it because it's perfect and hate it because i can't handle the cliffy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Well, I'm glad you love it in some way. I won't leave you hanging too long, hopefully.
Between the Hogwarts Battle and the marriage of Harry Potter to Ginevra Weasley, there was a break-up and a reconciliation. Between the two, there was an interlude with a Malfoy.Category: Completed Short Stories

“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”Category: Works in Progress
When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.
AHH! i love this story, although i'm having problems coming to terms with the fact that harry's gonna be left out in the cold. It's obvious that D/G NEED to be together... however Harry's so much better of a character in this fic then in some of the past one's that ive read.. sigh... i hope he's got a really good skeleton in the closet just so that i dont feel so badly, although... there were a few in this last chapter. ah, well, let the D/G goodness begin!!! thanks for the update, happy writing!!
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Harry is being pushed aside a bit, but the next few chapters will clear up what's going on and any skeletons that come out yet. Thanks for your review!
Lily is acting like such a petulant child! Sigh. then again i was totally like that at 16. Great work keep it up!! love your travis by the way :o)
Author's Response: I know. I must have been awful at 16. Ugh. Hopefully her petulance is accurate. :)

When she returns, there are secrets she can't escape, truths waiting to be discovered and a past in need of redemption.Category: Works in ProgressChapter 13 Quote
It was when she averted her eyes to the side of the building that she saw something to make her blood run cold.
She froze, stopping dead in her tracks and letting her arms fall limply to her sides. She stared at him, eyes wide in the red light of twilight, taking in the sight of his white-blond hair and porcelain features.
“No,” she breathed.
Red and green curses were flying about her in every direction, but it seemed the world had slowed down to her and the man who had not yet noticed her.
gah. LOVE IT!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reviewing!

i love the way you've already created a great setting and starting point! the characters are very intriguing, especially Scorpius. keep up the good work!!
Author's Response: I looove Scorpius (but not as much as his daddy, of course). He will be a big part of this, so I'm glad you like him! Thank you for the review!

At the end of a dark corridor in Azkaban there are only two people, the isolated prisoner and his jailer.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was such a wonderful burst of fresh air during finals. Thanks so much!
In the back of her mind, Ginny had always sensed there would be wild adventures with her and Harry. The early days of their time together–fighting evil and playing sport–felt like lifetimes ago. The most adventuresome thing they had done together in recent memory was a spontaneous shagging in the garden. It was so domestic that it pained her how common they were. The greatest wizard of his generation, and his wife, getting their thrills from a shag in the garden. She had never thought this future would be hers.Category: Long and Completed
I love the angle you've taken here! It always struck me (alternately in jealous and questioning tenors as i grew up with the books) that 17 is so young to be completely done with schooling and thrust into the adult world. Thinking of the romance I had at 17 (promptly falls off chair laughing) and wondering how that would work out brings to light all of the things you've addressed here. love the premise, and the ring of truth to it. yay! thanks!
So great!! love it! I love how there's no black and white in your take on the characters, Harry isn't the "bad guy" that it's easy/fun to dislike, and Ginny isn't "right" all the time. I'm excited to see where you take this! Thanks!
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! but but but! they're DG! they're supposed to be together! gah! masterfully crafted, thank you and keep up the good work!!!
