This story was absolutely gorgeous. You write the most beautiful prose. I read "The Black Alder Tree" probably 10 years back and it's still one of my favorite d/g stories. I was so delighted to find something else that you had written. I loved both Ginny and Draco in this story. Their friendship was just lovely. I also really liked the theme of your story, and I was constantly impressed with the creative ways you integrated each "step" on falling out of love. Some of them were so creative (like the finger painting and catching snowflakes with your tongue) so even though they were so called "cliched" ideas (which honestly I would have been thrilled with if they'd been what I was expecting anyway) they were presented in such a way that it seemed natural and believable and so original (which I aboslutely loved, if that wasn't clear :) ). Draco with the cat was fantastic. I'm also a big r/hr fan, so it's always a delight for me to have them be together in a d/g story, so thanks for that. I also liked how Ron wasn't a complete arse, because that happens a lot too. I realize that's it's been 5 years since you updated this, but I would be absolutely thrilled if you decided to complete it (as I'm sure would many others). Please know that people are still reading and enjoying this brilliant fic! Thank you so much for taking the time to write and for sharing it so we could all enjoy it!
