GOd...this story is really depressing...I usually don't read angsty fcs(i'm more into the light romance/humor/fluff fics)however i absolutely LOVE this one..
maybe i'm crazy or a huge draco fan girl but i like how you portray him in this fic,,,even with all his faults,with all his cruelty in some points i still find him good..:S
I can't wait for more!(will draco cure Ginny in the end?or will she stay broken forever)

Author's Response: It\'s not a happy fic by any means. There\'s dark, dark and more dark thrown in for extra measure. sorry! I think Draco in this is more of an antihero. He has his faults, frustration and confusion, and I don\'t make any secret of that. But he\'s not evil by any means, and on some level he does want to do right by Ginny. He *cares,* however flawed that caring is.\r\n\r\nI say nothing about the ending, btw. You\'ll have to see it for yourself. :)

as for Draco being the antihero...aren't the antiheroes the true heroes?
Author's Response: Well, it depends on the kind of tale it is. In some, the heroes are the ones that are traditionally good and proper, as Harry is in the books. In others, the antihero has some of those qualities even if he isn\'t quite the knight in shining armor. I guess I\'ve been putting Draco forth as more of a Byronic antihero. Which is to say, he\'s no knight in shining armor, but he\'s not as awful as he likes to think he is. :)
