Chapter THREE Quote of the Day:
"I can't blame anyone anymore," said Draco, still not looking at her. "I haven't the energy, I suppose."
Ginny turned on him then, unable to bear the impasse a moment longer. "What rubbish. You've got the energy to mope around and feel sorry for yourself, don't you?"
A faint color began to rise in his cheeks. "I've lost the ancestral seat of the Malfoys and most of the money to boot, not six months ago. And I'm lucky I'm not rotting in Azkaban into the bargain. I'm not feeling sorry for myself."
"Then you're doing a bloody good imitation," she retorted.

Chapter THREE quote of the day:
He was staring at her intently now, as if trying to look right through her into some secret she held without even knowing it. “What’s your name?” he asked.
His stare intensified. “I’m Draco Malfoy.”
She looked at him as if seeing him for the first time. Draco Malfoy. She knew that name. But it was unusual enough that she could be pretty sure she didn’t know anyone who had it. So she couldn’t possibly know it. He looked completely familiar all at once, this Draco-- no, no, she had no idea who he was at all, she’d met him for the first time fifteen minutes ago. She could not stop looking at his lean, angular face. She was unmoored and disconnected, out of time, out of place, Draco Malfoy’s face the one constant anchoring her to earth.
I know you, she thought, even though she knew she couldn’t know him at all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! And here's Part 2. :) Can Draco survive Yuletide Eve when he's thrown to the Weasley wolves at the Burrow? Will Ginny be able to save him? Is Fred going to stab him with a carving fork? And who's George's significant other? These questions and many more will be answered in the artistic extravaganza that is... A Very D/G Christmas.
A Quote from Part Two:
“It’s true then,” said Fred, continuing as if Draco hadn’t spoken, He moved around George to confront Ginny. “You’re really seeing him. You’ve really brought him to Yuletide dinner. You’ve actually done it, Ginny.”
That did sum up the situation quickly, at least, thought Draco.
“Look, Fred, I know. I should have just come straight out and told you,” said Ginny, stepping out of George’s protective embrace.
“No, you shouldn’t have done,” said Fred. “You shouldn’t be doing this at all. I’ll do *him* a favor. How’s that?” He shot Draco a look of intense dislike. “I’ll let *him* leave instead of unleashing every hex I can think of. “
Draco groaned inwardly. This was not going to be a good holiday dinner.
A silly drabble about what would inevitably happen if Harry and Ginny ever got (God forbid) married. Anyone expecting intricate plotting or vast character development will be disappointed, but leather pants are involved, however tangentially.Category: Completed Short Stories

Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.

CHAPTER FIVE quote of the day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
“Oh, no,” moans Ginny.
“Wait a minute,” says Draco. “That’s Lovegood, and she can see us. That means…” His eyes grow cold. “You’re no hallucination, are you?”
“What else do you think I’ve been trying to tell you for the past half hour?” hisses Ginny.
So you're a fanfic author, and you want to get published. A triumph of bad taste, this stupid, dreadful, and hastily thrown-together thing began as a post in ARGH, and went from there. Basically, we were all arguing that Harry saving Ginny in the CoS did not foreshadow eternal deathless twu wuv, because, well, he’s saved a lot of people. My twisted little mind then wondered, “Hmm… what if the same thing had to be true of everyone’s Harry ever saved?” And this was born…

And when Ginny wakes to the reality of 1997 Hogwarts, she begins to understand why she is remembering all of these long-gone events... because although her last chance to save the wizarding world from the doom that awaits it lay in that summer past, there are powers to whom nothing is impossibleófor a price.Category: Works in Progress

Chapter FOUR quote of the day:
“Get out of here, Malfoy,” she hissed at him.
He shook his head.
“I’m working on my public art project. Out.”
“No,” he said, not moving a muscle.
“Fine,” she sighed, walking over to him. “Why don’t you just tell me what you want, then? Let’s get this over with.”
