A knock sounded at her door, and Ginny smiled slightly. Five years of absolute closeness, yet Draco refused to be ‘vulgar.’ Knocking on the door, he said, was more honorable than simply bursting into her home or appearing in her fireplace. Giving her the privacy she needed, he said, was more upstanding than forcing his company on her when unwanted.Category: Works in Progress
Ginny Weasley is absolutely sure that Draco Malfoy is hatching a particularly evil plot as junior head of the Ministry Department of Culture, and that it definitely involves puppy-strangling, bribing officials, and consistently wearing trousers tailored very tight in back. Or at least it's a theory that makes sense when she's been surviving on two hours of sleep a night for far too long, and Draco keeps vetoing her sketches for the new marble statues at the Ministry fountain. But then Luna Lovegood gives her a potion with some very curious effects, and Ginny finds that she just may have to revise her opinions about those evil trousers...Category: Works in Progress

Chapter NINE Quote of the Day:
“So here’s where we are,” she said. “The sketches are ready. The clay models are done. I’m happy with them. You?”
“Very much so,” said Draco. His mouth quirked upwards. “Remember Bob Ross and his Happy Trees? I’d never have believed then that we’d reach this point, but we have.”
“We’ve come a long way since then,” said Ginny. She remembered how furious she was when she first learned that she’d be working with Draco on the fountain project, and that he’d somehow finagled his way into the Junior Minister of Art position. How snippy and cold she’d tried to be to him; how snarky he’d been to her in return. How exhausted he’d always looked, too, and how much she had wanted to smooth away the dark circles from under his eyes and put a real smile on his handsome face. She’d threatened to report him to the Minister of Art and have someone else reassigned to her; she was ashamed to think of that now.
“We certainly have,” said Draco, giving her one of his real smiles, the sort she’d never imagined his face could possibly form in those days. She tried not to smile in return. She wanted to remain as serious as possible.
Ginny finally has everything she's ever wanted. The boy of her dreams, top grades, and a way to finally break into the Golden Trio. When perfection turns out to be less than perfect she finds herself seeking solace in another journal. When this journal writes back, she is understandably worried—until she discovers the person writing back is a fellow student. A fellow student who refuses to divulge his identity. Does she want to know who this mystery person is? Or has she already revealed too much of herself?Category: Works in Progress
Sometimes, Ginny just wanted to break mirrors so she'd be certain to live for another seven years. She wondered if seeing her face splinter like Draco's mind already had would be worth it.Category: Works in Progress
