I have read this before! I knew it. And it was one of my old favourites. I'm so happy I found this again! Oh, and I loved this chapter. ^_^

Very, very good!

On to the next chapter...

I'm never getting to bed, am I?

Oh, it was cool to see that Ginny is the centre of Draco's attention now - well developed, I suppose, and realistic, since I really felt he is intent on Tom Riddle and therefore starts watching her now. He even didn't tell anybody about their nightly encounter, that's... interesting. And Ginny's fears (such a nice alternation to the brave Gryffindors! And I do think it is plausible) and the fact that she feels alone already seem to point at the "direction Draco". At least to my mind.
Their dialogue was great, just convincing, and emotional... aww. I don't have to mention the perfect (and somehow still surprising) kiss, do I?
His doubts really became clear and it was a lovely end line.

Mmmm sweet sexy ending. I enjoyed Draco's discomfiture during Ginny's crying, nicely portrayed. The pun was fantastic--more of this. Pure well-executed humour drastically lifts a fic above the rest, in a way I can't describe very well right now (I'm tired *smiles*), but it's worth the time. It lends a bit of verisimilitude to the world in which the characters exist, as humour is a universal link to humanity.

Wow, I sound quite pretentious. Right! Off to Chapter Three =)

You're bringing up really interesting issues from the books that a lot of other authors have forgotten about - especially the fact that Ginny has most likely been traumatized by the possession and that not everyone knows that Voldemort was Tom Riddle (and half-muggle). I really like where you're taking this story. I have a little constructive criticism, though. I think the romance between Ginny and Draco is developing too quickly. I like your Ginny-Draco interaction, but Draco's tenderness and the kiss were a little surprising. I found them hard to believe. I don't really know where this is going (and the next chapter will probably have more insight into what is going on between them), so I probably should not critisize yet, but I was just thinking that if you were ever considering revising this story maybe you could slow it down a little. This is a great beginning, though.
