Reviews For First Kiss

I've read this before, but I don't think I reviewed. Anyway, I liked this little prelude. Simple, but very telling. You managed to capture Draco's younger personality perfectly: imitating his father, but still uncertain.

~WOW. I love the tie in to the books~

This was really good.I liked the irony of Draco saying he might mention it to Crabbe and Goyle when he showed them the article because that was when Ron and Harry would have been Crabbe and Goyle.I would have loved to see Rons reaction. He freaked when Draco talked about 'mione dying but,if he found out draco kissed his sister......ohh that would be bad. :)

This is very interesting. I think you should continue with this story. :) Happy Holiday!

OK, I know I reviewed before, but I've been rereading and I just realized another great part of this fic--you do a really good job or showing how young they are. With Ginny's not-nearly-witty comebacks and Draco's imitation of his father and not knowing what to do when kissing. Like I said before, very different from your other fics, and very effective!

I just realized I never reviewed this. So now I am reviewing it. Probably my favorite part of this whole piece was the sort of waver in his bravado, the idea of the emulation of his father as a shaky concept. The ending was well-done. Now I want to read the continuation. Now. Right now. :-)

Favorite line? " He had taken it, like the ruthless conqueror he had been raised to be." Loved the little references to Tom, and to the article he was going to show Crabbe and Goyle. It was so priceless seeing him at a loss, not knowing what to do after he grabbed her hand. Nice save by him, by the way. Hee. Excellent ficlet!

Draco was completely adorable in all his Malfoy manner. But of course Malfoy's aren't adorable they're menacing...*snigger* his attempts at imitating Lucuis are classic. And teasing us with this ficlet is very ebil. Loved it!

Oh wow! I loved it. Especially when Draco said "Don't swoon, Weasley..." Denial isn't just a river in Egypt, Draco, it's a way of life.

The last sentence is really quite a shock. It reminds me very much of a ditty: short, sweet, and entertaining the whole way through.

Chehe! cute, very cute. I loves it.

Fabulous job! It made me all warm and tingly inside. :) And yet you kept Draco in character, which I LOVE. I just love it. Lack of words partially caused by the fact that I'm at work, and should not be reading fan fic. @_@

he might do it again himself someday - oh he definitely will once he works out what he's doing, of course *giggles* Wonderfully innocent!

Came from LJ to here! Ohhh that Draco is... well Slytherin-ish in every way! That flash in her eyes... Hmm, will there be some kind of future fic that comes out of this one shot?

Please don't let this be a little one-shot Christmas fluff for us! It's begging to be extended...and so are we, your faithful readers...Great Job and keep up the good work! Can't wait to see anything else you have to write!!

I don't unusally go for D/G fics [don't shoot me] but I enjoyed this very much.

Author's Response: Hee! No shooting, just gratitude and a vague wondering how you ended up here.

Oooh. I really like the Malfoy you've portrayed here...I like how he's not yet the cool-confident Draco most fanfic's portray him. I love how he's almost as insecure and unsure as Ginny herself. Really lovely! ~Wai http://livejournal.com/~waiyza

"he pushed her backwards a step and then leaned forward. It was over quickly, because he didn't know what to do and he didn't want her to find out, so as soon as he'd smacked his lips over hers he stepped back and smoothed a hand over his hair. "Don't swoon, Weasley, we were under the mistletoe. It's not like you're my girlfriend or anything." Honestly Shar, even your fluff is edgy. I love the way that you write! Really, I do!

Ooh! It's an interesting idea. I love the references to the diary. And I loved this: "It's not like you're my girlfriend or anything." It's just the right amount of awkward.

Hurrah! A new Mynuet post! I liked this one because it was so different, and we see such a meeker Ginny than we are accustomed to seeing in d/g fanon. The Tom Riddle mention was very eery. But the best part of all, of course, was the last line. We're all such suckers for D/G, aren't we?

Aw... the fascination begins. :) I like the touch with the diary and the potentially frightening look in Ginny's eyes. Someday that will taunt him, won't it?

Nervous, uncertain Draco is so cute. Cute, I tell you! *suspicious look* That's not the end, right?
