I don't know why, but I find Rose really irritating in this. It's not really 'her', it's more just that she expects him to always be hers when she doesn't even try.

I'm giddy! I really like this pairing and I hope it works out. The whole scene between them was really sweet. Excellent job with that. I beleive I'm fallen in love with Scorpius. But I must admit, I'm feeling deprived of some Ginny / Draco interaction.

I think whatever I wanted to say to you regarding the latest installment has already been eloquently expressed by stickofgum in her review...
My initial reaction was that of disbelief when I read this chapter when you finally ended the whole R/S/L debate, I mean we have been through so many twists and turns that I still can't believe that you have brought the debate to a closure... in fact, i suspect that you are gonna give the story another unpredictable twist! :P

I loved all the snogging ;) Lily is one feisty lil... 'witch' She is the one who can truly keep Scorp happy .
I do hope that Rose gets someone better suited to her temperament... I feel bad for her,having inherited some of Ron's and Hermione's less than charming traits.

Great writing as always but…ugh looks like it's going to be Lily and Scorpius after all. I know you said Rose wasn't out of the picture but this last chapter read pretty clear cut to me. I also think there was more damage done than not after all the snogging Scorpius did with Lily. Poor Rose, I hope she can find someone who doesn't want to "keep it in the family" and is willing to fight for her even just a little bit. I'm sooooo not liking Scorpius and Lily right now. I still think Rose is more like Ginny than Lily is. Ginny never fought for her and Draco, she took the easy route and chose Harry I'm guessing to keep her family happy…sound more like Rose than Lily to me.
I guess I'll have to look forward to the Draco and Ginny interaction. I agree with stickofgum, PLEASE do not make them cheat on their spouses. If D&G reunite I want it to be upfront and honest. Sorry for the rant…
Author's Response: Rants are just fine. ;) And maybe I should clarify, Rose isn't out of the picture as far as the story is concerned. She's not dropping off the face of the planet or anything. Also, and you're welcome to disagree, Rose and Lily are both like Ginny in a sense. Both are given the chance to go for Scorpius. It's just that, like stickofgum said, Rose has been raised by Ron and Hermione (not exactly tolerant of Malfoys) and Lily has Ginny and Harry's guts to push for something. Rose would be struggling against her family, whereas Lily has to deal with whether or not she's hurting Rose, and a part of her she's trying to ignore, knows that she is. And don't worry, no D/G cheating. That would make me cringe to write. Thanks for your review and hopefully you'll like the next few D/G chapters.
I'm telling you man, you got me into S/L ship now!!! I totally love them so much, probably more than D/G! I sorta like the idea that whatever that cant be fix in previous generation, the next generation would be able to make it right;) So thank you for all the snogging for my fave couple!!!

Now I realize you're going to get a fair amount of flack for this chapter, but good for you, Rosalie. Scorpius had to end up with somebody and, in a love triangle, there's always going to be a disappointed faction. Hopefully everybody minds their manners and commends you for a lovely story thus far... and the fact that we have lots of angsty DG goodness to look forward to makes me so excited for the next chapter, too.
This is still one of the (very) few stories I look forward to every week. I can't wait to see what happens next! :)

*sigh* I have to say I hate this chapter. Don't get me wrong, it was very well written and there are no grammatical mistakes I can point out, but... the storyline here, I just hate it. It's probably because I've been a Scorpius-Rose shipper for the entirety of this story, so I'm not exactly a fan of him and Lily. Secondly, I LOVE DG, so if you bring their children together, the chances of them being together by the end of this story dwindle. Thirdly, I really do think that Scorpius and Rose have this intensity of feelings between them (not unlike DG) that him and Lily will never have (like Harry and Ginny dont have that great deep connection, no matter how nice their relationship is). I had to force myself to read this chapter, but I know (as you've assured me in the past), I'll have my DG fix soon, so I'm just going to wait for that one. Please update soon! I really can't wait to read the next chapter! Rose-Scorpius confrontation coming
Author's Response: Aw well I'm sorry that you didn't like it. I know it's hard if you've been routing for Rose and Scorp from the beginning. Honestly (and you're of course welcome to your own opinions) but I always was writing this with the intention of showing how both Lily and Rose had Ginny's choices before them in a sense. Whether to risk everything for Scorpius or not, just as Ginny had to with Draco. Rose, being cautious and in a tight spot because of her parents, can't force herself to upset them, even if she's being dishonest about what she really wants. Lily is Gryffindor for a reason, and very like her mum. She's been bold as brass since the beginning and couldn't help but attract Scorpius' friendship and respect. He's of course tired and very hurt after months or longer of being dragged around behind an indecisive Rose and it's only natural that some part of him would jump for the reciprocation Rose hadn't been giving him. He and Lily's friendship might seem recent as it only began in the last semester, but it has been honest and bold. Rose is not out of the picture, and she'll still get some form of her own happy ending, but you'll have to wait and see ;) As for Draco and Ginny, they'll be forced to deal with each other again in the next chapter, by their kids of course.
