I'm feeling so torn with this story. I want Draco and Ginny to be together, but then I don't want their families being torn apart. It makes things so difficult. *sighs*

Heart-wrenching, brutal, and utterly captivating... I've never been this moved by a single story. You've no idea how good you are! No other fanfiction has ever evoked such strong emotions out of me. Well, Harry's shown his true feelings about the situation in this chapter. Of course he'd always been jealous of Draco and of course he's always been insecure! I'm gonna admit, I thought he wasn't jealous but this chapter just proves that he was. Because, seriously, no one in their right mind can be that 'understanding' for so long. Let's be real here, he knew she had not gotten over Draco and hoped that she had. And now that he knows she hadn't, he's acting like a right mess because of it.
And I'm not going to lie, the Lily/Scorpio thing is something I'm going to have to get used to. But I don't think they're in the wrong in terms of the L/R/S situation. I can understand Rose's pain but she was unfair to Lily. Can't wait for the D/G filled chapter next time. We deserve it after this little dose of Harry.
Author's Response: Haha, yes you do deserve it after dealing with an entire chapter full of Harry and Gin's marriage, at least they were fighting though, right? As for Harry being 'understanding' he has been for the most part, because Draco hasn't been a problem for the last 25 years, Gin and him haven't even spoken until the dinner party. The problem is what happened in the past which is the reason Ginny has been so 'indecisive' living in the past, and crying tears all the time. She's a mess because of what happened (which I promise you'll find out later) and Harry is just finally starting to lose his mind because the threat to his marriage is only getting worse, especially with Gin's outburst at him. There were a few clues in there but I don't know if I was too tired writing them for it to be readily seen. Regardless, everything will come out in the open soon enough, promise ;) Glad you liked it so much and I'll get the next chapter out as soon as I can.

Its just so interesting that history is repeating itself. I have a problem though i can't wrap around the idea of a Ginny who is perpetually crying all the time. Thats not the Ginny Weasley I know and love. I want to know why Draco and Ginny actually broke up because that is killing me as I think that both of them are still in love with each other and can't do anything as they have family obligations. I don't hate Harry as I feel his feelings are real and genuine, if i was in his place I would be doing the same thing. However, I love the D/G pairing as that is the real truth and nothing else.

oh damn. well, you certainly made me feel sorry for Harry, although it's easily squashed by my desire to have a grown up, epilogue compliant D/G get together.
i liked this chapter alot, and i wish rose would come around because lily is so sad. yes, it sucks to have your heart broken and see your bff/cousin date the guy you like, but i feel like she never made it clear that she was into Scorpius and should march her arse over there and apologize.

Author's Response: You're exactly right. Lily honest to God never even suspected a thing between Rose and Scorpius until Scorp used her to make Rose jealous. After that she was still reluctant to be with Scorpius over the possibility over there being something between him and Rose. So yes, Rose never told Lily or even hinted at her feelings for Scorpius and now she's blaming Lily because she has no one else to be mad at. As for D/G, they are coming up next chappie! Wow! I'm loving Harry in this chapter, I have to say, and that's very unusual for me. The thing he said about being saint-like - here here! I like how we see behind the facade of a perfectly happy marriage in this chapter, and reveal bit of what they're both feeling. Honestly, I don't feel sorry for Ginny at all. I don't know if that's how you wrote it, but she's a person who doesn't know what she wants, and has tried to sit on the fence for far too long. I hope somewhere along the line we get a full out screaming spat between her and Harry where they both say exactly what they mean, and how they feel. I cannot WAIT for the DG meeting next chapter! I know she said she's going for closure, but the way you've written her this chapter - it could go either way. I can see how Harry & Ginny's relationship has reached their breaking point, as he said, and from here there are two ways it can go:
1) They can either break up, and go their seperate ways; or
2) Ginny can completely give up on Draco, forget all about him, Harry can let go of all his insecurities and jealousies, and they can all just move on...
The first one seems favourable to me, always the DG fan :P It will also be easier because I can't imagine how you can just stop loving someone you've loved for 26 years, and move on completely... it's a long time. So, thank you for this chapter! It was really great because even though we saw a little bit of Scorpius-Lily (gag), it centred on our favourite herione and her matyr husband, fighting about the love of her life aka the hottest bad boy of hogwarts! LOL it all sounds so fangirl-ish, but i love it! Update soon! xoxo
