I officially adore Lily, the little devil.
This line: “I’m sure that’s exactly what she wanted, my dad and yours engaging in a very merry Christmas with each other.” is pure genius!
Ahh I can't wait to see what happens next! Is Rose going to tell?

I've never read any "second generation" stories, but I'm liking this one, and interested to see where you take it--you have such a lot of leeway!

Oh no! Agh! You can't just stop there! You just can't! At least please update soon. I can't wait to see how things will unfold. Will Rose be able to at least deflect part of the question so she doesn't have to reveal all?
I really like how you wrote this chapter. Rose's observations of her friends is interesting. I like how you've been able to convey Lily's character so fully and realistically.
