Anyway, this was a great story. I'm really loving the Lily/Scorpius dynamic in this. It was so adorable seeing him apologise, and, of course, the parents all taking their turn at raging was hilarious. That being said, if I was in their position I would be just as furious. Kids can be so thoughtless and reckless.

Oh my. So much is going on! Some stories a reader can tell right away what the outcome is going to be. With your story we can't. There are so many different paths this story can take, and that is one thing that makes your story unique. I'm loving it!

I very much enjoyed this last chapter of the story - can't wait to see how things unfold and how both generations' stories play out. I have to admit I'm definitely rooting for Scorpius/Lily over Scorpius/Rose! As for Draco/Ginny - I actually don't mind if they end up together or not - I'd just love to find out more about their past and have it be one of those bittersweet love stories which they didn't manage to work out but which their children did.

Just started reading this story and I love it it's so good! So -- did Gin and Draco ever sleep together or date or I'm confused? But I assume we're finding out anyways its really good!
Author's Response: No Ginny didn't sleep with anyone but her husband once she was married. But, Draco and Ginny obviously lived in the same flat for eleven months, seperate bedrooms lol. However, they did get to know eachother and fall in love and date to an extent. More will come about their time together in oncoming chapters. Thanks for your review!

Scorpius is definitely a sweeter boy than his father used to be. In my mind at least. And you're picturing it pretty beautifully. This chapter is full of it, his shyness and caring. Lovely!

This chapter definitely makes up for that last evil cliffhanger. Glad to see that Lily's ok. But I'm still curious about what happened to Rose & Scorpius last time. And who does Scorpius really like anyway? (*secretly shipping Scorpius & Lily*) I'm loving this story more and more! =) Keep up the good work & hope to see more D/G scenes next time.

Draco still remembers Ginny's favourite tulips, that's sweet and he definitely, definitely still cares. Heh, and a BIG cookie to you for the Scorpius/Lily interaction! I was pleasantly surprised. Though the fact that the fic is only half-completed means that anything can happen (e.g. Scorpius actually liking Rose etc.), I guess I shouldn't worry too much over it since you probably already have everything planned out since day one. All I can do now is to wait for the next chapter. Hopefully less than one week this time? xP

I wonder if those covert looks between Scorpius & Lily are just due to curiosity about how things *could* have happened, or spring from something more... I really rather prefer a Rose/Scorpius shipping to be honest, but I suppose that a Lily/Scorpius one wouldn't be too unbelievable, given how they have become good friends.
I hope Rose is okay. Will we see her soon? I hope so. Maybe she and Lily will have a talk? Or maybe Scorpius will get his act together and apologise to her, also.
I like the tulips in this chapter. :) I had a feeling that they'd be Ginny's favourites by the way which Draco mentioned them.
Oh, by the way, both Ginny and Harry's reactions to Lily's accident were *totally* in character - the threatening and shouting and everything was spot on. Oh and Draco's anger at his son was really true to character, also. Actually, I don't think there's been a moment where I felt any of the characters to be acting unlike themselves, which is a great achievement given the 'new generation' slant that you've given the whole thing.
Anyhoo, I'm looking forward to more chapters. :) Hope that you'll update soon.

I'm a bit confused... I thought Scorpious liked Rose? Yet, this chapter implies he's starting to like Lily?
To be honest I prefer it that he end up with Ginny's daughter... So in some ways it'd be like a repeat of history for what their parents weren't able to accomplish.
Lily's more the type that would be able to control Scorpius' arrogance with a swift kick in the butt. Whereas, Rose is... Well she just doesn't strike me as the type that would match the traits the Malfoy boy has.
Excellent chapter, I'm excited for the next one. It's becoming quite the love triangle for the parents and the new generation.
Author's Response: Yes, Scorpius very much liked Rose. However, Rose has been, sorry to say, spineless in dealing with her feelings for him. Scorpius is a Malfoy, and while not as rude as his father was in school, Scorpius is not going to just sit on his hands waiting for a girl who's too frightened to be seen with him should her parents find out. Lily came into the picture months ago at this point and he's gotten to know her quite well, they're each other's 'other' best friend to an extent. Also, Lily was there when Rose wasn't (i.e. the dinner party) So, it's only natural that Scorpius' feelings start to shift, especially considering he didn't know Lily before. Now that he does, his feelings have a chance to change. Hope that answers your question and thank you for your review!
OMG I don't know how I feel about this! I mean, poor Rose! It's as though no one cares! But I like the idea of Scorpius and Lily! Though, I also like the idea of Scorpius and Rose! What to do! great chapter! I love how Draco being so angry with scoprius and then force him to buy tulips for ginny ^_^ But I rather like Lily with Scoprius than DG in this one...perhaps the next generation love can finish where the first generation left off ;)

You know what I'm really enjoying? The fact that you've created a story about parents, children, *real* family dynamics and behavior, and not just a one-dimensional Lily-Rose-Scorpius love polygon with angsty D/G in the background. This fic has depth. I love it.
