What would have happened, indeed? So I see we finally found out what happened between Scorpius and Rose. I confess, I don't have much sympathy for Rose. She's stupid if she thinks she can just say that she likes him but never want to have a 'real' relationship with him that her parents can know about.

Author's Response: Yeah it was stupid but it was also her taking everyone's reactions and the reality of their situation into account. It's kind of like being stuck between a rock and a hard place, she wants to let him go, she wants to be with them. She wants each of those for different things and can't make any progress.

Team Rose.

Author's Response: Haha, so people are taking teams are they???

Oh, I am loving this story so far. I just stumbled upon it today and already I'm addicted. I can't wait to see where this heads next (you've turned me into a Scorpius/Lily shipper). Excellent.

Author's Response: Wow thank you! I'm so glad you like it so much! ;)

I LOVE the little peek into Ginny and Draco's life together. How he just throws the spatula over his shoulder and kisses her! Loved it! ;D

As for Rose/Scorpius/Lily...I'm not even going to try guessing or predicting what's going to happen anymore, haha. Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Haha, probably a good route to not try predicting what's going on with those three. It's definately a love triangle, through and through. Next chapter should clear those things up much more though ;) I'm glad you liked the spatula and the kiss (it was a blast to write, I still can't believe I wrote something incorporating Draco, Ginny, a kiss, and a spatula but it just fit, in that weird kind of way. :) Thanks for your review!

Argh! Why did Harry have to butt in? What would have happened if he hadn't knocked? As much as I like Rose, I don't think she deserves Scorpius being the coward that she is. I think Scorpius would be better off with Lily. But then again, I don't think Lily likes him in that way. By the way, I really like that little flashback of Draco & Ginny. =) More please! =D

Author's Response: What if I were to tell you all this Rose/Scorp/Lily were to be answered in the next chapter??? ;) Thanks for your review and I'm glad you liked the flashback, soon enough D/G won't need the flashbacks to be in the same scene.:)

I have to admit that I'm not a good reviewer at all - I think I have about 5 reviews on FIA only but I've found your story to be so good that I want to review every new chapter to not only give you kudos but also for fear that you will abandon the story.

Again this is such a conflicting chapter for me since I am a lover of happy endings and yet I can tell that realistically, not all the characters can have happy endings neatly wrapped up in a bow (like JK tried to do with her Epilogue).

I feel really sorry for Rose, who really has done nothing wrong and I think her reluctance to tell her parents is pretty well-founded in Ron and Hermione's dislike for Draco as well as what I perceive to be her more cautious nature.

I loved the flashback to Draco/Ginny living together and the beginnings of their relationship - the whole flowers and pancakes thing just makes me so sad for them that they didn't work out the first time.

In any case, I continue to look forward to more chapters and offer encouragement to keep going :)

Author's Response: Thanks for your reviews and your concern! It's very sweet. I can assure you though that I will not abandon this story. It is all sitting on my computer, 98% complete, all but the editing. Seven more chapters to post! I've had some of my favorite authors jump ship, so I promise I won't do that. ;) I was actually reworking on the ending only last night and I think it's more happy than most would think considering the teenage/relationship angst prevalent throughout the story. So fear not :) Also, as for Rose, I know this is a big concern for everyone because she really hasn't done anything wrong as of now. She gets her happy ending too, in a way that I can't disclose now, sorry to say. :) I'm glad you liked the flashback, as I loved writing it (and I was obviously craving pancakes at the time) Anyway, thank you for your review and encouragement. I'll keep posting, I promise. :)

very good! :D I love the flashback. my heart is like...breaking for Ginny :(

also I like that there's a bit of a parallel between the past and present. and I think it's kind of funny that Scropius is afraid of Harry :D

anyways, good chapter. good insights to the characters and all and god damn Ginny for choosing Harry and Draco is clearly the better man :(...but then, this story did come out of it so it can't be that bad :)

I like tulips too :D

Author's Response: So very true that this story came out of it. In a twisted way, I guess I am glad that the epilogue happened. It let me have fun with all these characters ;) Glad you liked the chapter and the flashback. Thanks for your review!

love this chapter!!!  Thank you for putting that Scropius + Rose scene, cuz i was just about to PM u and ask you what happen in their talk!  I am starting to like Scorp/Lily pair than the D/G/H pairing.  I hope S/L will end up together, but then again, Ginny is clearly not really extremely happy with Harry...so i cant wait to see how this story would develop!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad I put the Scorp and Rose scene in too. It wasn't originally in the story until yesterday, lol. But I like it. See, reviewers still have an impact on how I write even when the story's already written. I just keep adding stuff in sometimes. Thanks fo your review! Hope you like the rest!

This is exciting! Ginny and her two men and Scorp between two women. It's all about the choices we make and living with those choices. Very anxious to see what happens next.

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm anxious to see what everyone thinks ;)

Lol yes yes, I know he likes them both, but being the DG fan-girl that I am, I'm just going to ignore the lily part until it becomes absolutely necessary :P Can we please see some more Rose in the next chapter?

Author's Response: Sure. And Lily. And Scorpius. ;)

I loved Ginny's memory of Draco; it was so innocent and beautiful. How could that silly woman let him go and choose Harry…yuck! Did Ginny choose Harry because she was scared of what her family would think? That sounds an awful lot like what Rose is going through. She definitely has a lot in common with her Aunt Ginny in wanting to keep her family happy. I’m completely rooting for Rose and Scorpious I know you said Rose is not out of the picture yet but right now I just feel so bad for her. She's going to be even more heartbroken when she has to continuously watch Scorpious and Lilly hanging around each other. Does Lilly know that Rose has feelings for Scorpious? I can't wait to read more. I hope Rose is brought back into the story soon and that Ginny and Draco start interacting more frequently. Here's hoping D&G also end up together ; - )

Author's Response: DG are going to be interacting much more frequently in a few chapters, I can promise that. Thank you so much for your review and I'm glad you liked Gin's memory. I loved writing that scene.

I know this is a D/G fic, but you know, the Lily/Scorpius/Rose triangle is really killing me. Scorpius is not the only one getting frustrated, I am goddamn frustrated as well!

*TAKES IN A DEEP BREATH*

Author's Response: Aw, sorry you're getting frustrated. I promise the next chapter clears a few things up for sure on the L/S/R front.

I don't take it back, you're definately, posetivily MEAN!
;D
But I LOVED it!
That tulip memory and the kiss and pancakes, all of Draco's sweetness...he's amazing!
I love this Draco! REALLY REALLY love him!
Ginny HAS to be with him, she can't NOT realize she loves him.
I want more memories of them living together!
It's great Rosalie, REALLY awesome, well worth the wait.
=D

kisses

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! So very sorry about the wait, too. Hopefully I can take control of my last minute ideas and incorporate them sooner than the literal last minute ;) But I'm very happy that you liked it so much!

ok, BIG FAN!!, loving it!!.

definate lily and Scorpius fan, ( lily has the right traites on how to handle a Malfoy)

Rose does not have the backbone, a Malfoy will walk all over her. example: he knew she liked him (that's cockyness!!...a malfoy signature mark)and she knew he knew and yet she did nothing, lily would have fixed it to her advantage.

reason: MAlfoy's does not like or tolerates weakness!

but lilly..... right on target!! i am getting the same tingly feeling u get in a Ginny and Draco moment.

keep it coming
alexis

ps: STILL WAITING ON MY GINNY AND DRACO CONFRONTATION!!! .... (PLEASE!!!)

Author's Response: Haha, I love how you almost psychologically broke down the cause and effect of Lily/Scorp and Rose/Scorp. Glad you liked it so much. And yes the D/G confrontation is coming, it will span the course of two or three chapters, and will start being posted chapter after next.

Poor Scorpius, he doesn't know what to do... Is it possible for him and Lily to work out more so then him and Rose? I mean Lily's better suited for him, cuz she has traits that fits him more than Rose does.

Author's Response: We'll see... ;) Seriously, next chapter, all of that will be answered...

Aww some DG memory-love ^_^ I'm glad Ginny is starting to realize that Draco would've been the better choice for her, and that she should've picked him over Harry! Once the edge of doubt start to creep in, dissolution of a relationship is easy to come by.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING SCORPIUS LIKE ROSE! I hope they have this really intense relationship like DG would have. Lily can find herself someone nice, someone who isn't going to be her step-brother. Update soon! xoxo

Author's Response: Your welcome for the DGness ;) Just a reminder though, Scorpius likes Lily AND Rose and is getting increasingly frustrated as well...

This is a great story, and I love the interaction between Draco and Ginny but also Lily and Scorpius. And you know what, I think Malfoy men has weaknesses with red heads;).

Author's Response: Haha, fantastic observation! Personally, I should like to think ALL men ought to have a weakness for redheads, if they're not attracted to them, they should at least cower before their fiery tempers. Can you tell I have a personal stake in this? :P Thanks for your review! I'm glad you like both the D/G and L/S!
