Ginny's sure a firecracker.

Author's Response: She really is! Maybe even more so in this story than normal. Poor thing has a reason though. :(

Sorry if these reviews are short. I'm typing them on my mobile.

The epilogue here is just great. It's so cute and wonderful and leaves the story open to continue with a sequel. Hint, hint. ;) And Draco's suggestion and kiss at the end? A PERFECT way to end it.

Wonderful job, love. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, as you already know. n_n

Author's Response: Thanks again! I did get a lot of comments in the exchange mentioning a sequel. I don't know if I could write one, but I do have a couple really short drabbles that take place in this universe that I'd like to post later. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! n_n

Everything really starts to come together when you reveal that Ginny is a patient, too. Now her vitriolic remarks and behaviour toward Draco seem reasonable - including the unexpected kiss (so cute, Draco's reaction).

The little meeting with Harry at the end was perfect. I love the fact that you don't villainise him. I'm so sick of that in D/G stories. And Draco returns home and is greeted by his mum! So sweet. A nice little open ended ending. ;)

Author's Response: Thanks, Lia! XD It wouldn't have felt right to make Harry a villain since this story is about forgiveness, and the real villain is his past and inability to forgive himself. Harry's a good guy. Draco's just going to have to get over that. XD

Wow. I feel like I *should* have realised Ginny was getting help there too but I didn't and I'm so glad! And that's just because as this was finishing, it all just came together and made such beautiful sense and there just no way you can get amazing feeling again. So thank you for sharing this with all of us here. :)

My only gripe would be this: I felt uncomfortable at the end, if not a little offended, with your 'poofter' references. It kind of just ruined the ending for me and I wish I could have just skipped past those lines to the part where he kissed her.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. n_n And I'm glad it made sense in the end. D: I was afraid a whole lot of the story would be characters just not making sense, even though they made perfect sense to me. Anyway, I'm glad it worked for you. As for the end, I can see how it would make you uncomfortable and I'm sorry that it did. It certainly wasn't my intention to offend.

Hehehe, loved it! A great ending to a wonderful story. I'm just sad it's over, but all things must come to an end, I suppose. In any case, this was lovely. I'm glad they got to have a happy ending. ^_^

Author's Response: Thanks, Kim! n_n During the exchange, so many people asked for a sequel, but I probably won't do that now. D: I do have a couple of short drabbles from this story that I'm going to post on FFN at some point or another. Thank you for reading! I'm glad you liked it. :D

Read this back when it was released, but didn't review, even though I loved it.
Two things that tickled me: Old man White TOTALLY morphed into Gary Coleman in my head. But in a good way.
Loved that Draco thought Ginny was the maid.
I can't wait for the epilogue!

Author's Response: LOL! I can't imagine what Gary Coleman and Filip White have in common, but that's hilarious! Thank you so much for reviewing! :D

Ooo, I was not expecting Ginny to be a patient there as well. At first I was a bit stunned by her kiss, just cause it seemed so out of the blue, but her explanation made me realise she was just very upset. It also made a lot more sense when I read that she was a patient there.

I'm glad Draco finally got his freedom and that you didn't make Harry too awful. Sometimes it fits to have him a total git, but this story I think it would have been unnecessary. Look forward to reading the rest. ^_^

Author's Response: Thanks, Kim! Hopefully editing the epilogue won't take as long as it took to edit this chapter. >_>

I don't think I'm the only one who wants to slap Ginny upside the head. I know there's a reason for her anger - or at least there will be - but right now she just comes off as an emotional twit. But, the good side to this is that you make me really sympathise as well as empathise with Draco. He's going through quite the emotional and spiritual journey, and you have to respect him for his maturity - and you still make it believable.

The conversation between Jimmy and Draco was touching. It's rare to like an OC after so short of time, but you managed that with Jimmy. I just want to hug that bundle of nerves.

Psst, just one thing. You're missing the period for the second last sentence of the chapter. Other than that, this was a great chapter, m'dear.

Author's Response: Waaaaaah. I responded to this, but it didn't send. :( Let's see if I can remember what I said.

Oh, yeah. You're definitely supposed to sympathize with Draco in this story, but I also feel that Ginny deserves some pity. She doesn't seem to make any sense. And can you imagine how Draco is feeling throughout this ordeal? He has no idea what the fudge is wrong with her, and he receives the whole of her hostility. But! You can pity her properly next chapter. :) Or not at all, if you don't want to.

Thanks for pointing out the period! I fixed it.

In think I've clicked the chapter button well over ten times hoping chapter 5 would magically appear. LOL Ah well. Until next chapter: it was a treat to read your work :)

Author's Response: :D Thank you! The next chapter should be up soonish. It's with my beta right now. n_n I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far!

I've been wondering when this was going to be updated. Lovely chapter, as usual. I'm glad we finally got some answers about Jimmy. The conversation between he and Draco was very touching and awkward -- as all those kind of conversations are. It's nice Draco was able to give Jimmy the strength he needed to survive out in the real world, though. I just hope nothing happens to the poor guy.

I kind of want to shake Ginny for being so obstinate, but I suppose that is her character. This story definitely makes me sympathise with Draco more than Ginny.

Author's Response: Ah, Jimmy. I think his story would be an interesting one. Well, relatively. He really was a shell of himself at The Cottage. It's actually really sad what became of him to get him there. His fear was all-consuming. I don't think Draco realizes what they've both done for each other.

Ah, Ginny. I think Draco really wants to shake her. Or punch her or something. Ginny's story is just sad in every way that you could mean 'sad'. :( And the sad thing is it probably won't get explained well enough to infer the sadness of it. Maybe I'll have to write a sequel, about her story. She's probably more interesting being angry at Draco all the time, though.

jeeze gin, freak out much?

Author's Response: I think she needs anger management, don't you? XD

I love your descriptions in this chapter. I really feel him sweating, being uncomfortable and irate.

Yikes, is Ginny being quite the snarky little - I won't say bint, but I do mean bint. She has her reasons for not liking Draco, but that's some repressed rage going on up in her noggin of hers. Her taking care of Draco while seeming to be Lucy's idea, does hint at a soft edge...kinda soft. Lol.

I like how you're slowly building up the tension between Draco and Ginny - and how Draco notices her, thinks about her touch, is jealous of the delivery man, etc. Subtle hints at things to come. And I especially like that it's one-sided right now. Too often it is Ginny liking Draco, and Draco acting aloof. It's nice to see a reversal - or, in this case, having Ginny hate Draco. Lol.

Author's Response: I think Ginny felt a little guilty about Draco's condition. It certainly wasn't her idea to take care of him, but a small part of her felt responsible, and she thinks so highly of Lucy that she would do whatever she told Ginny to do anyway. Of course, she ends up unknowingly torturing poor Draco. ;D Thanks for the review, Lia. n_n

I really like how this story is from Draco's point of view. He's certainly not simple and that's what makes it interesting. Many other fics fail to explain his complexities as they never spend enough time to describe the ins and outs of his mind. -And so I have a mammoth hunch your on the right track to successfully show Draco's development as a person. Love love love it :) Your fic will succeed where others have failed. Keep the chapters coming! Keep up the fantastic quality.
(P.S I love how Ginny is imperfect with her prejudice towards him -I have a feeling that will change as the chapters roll on)

Author's Response: Thanks so much! n_n One thing I really wanted to do with this story was to show Draco's development, show how he personally could be broken and then possibly fixed. How that happens, how he feels about it. I hope that's what I'm accomplishing. :) Thank you for reviewing!
