Snarky humor, romance, and a pinch of angst. “I don’t want it. I didn’t order it. Now leave me the fuck alone.” He slammed the door closed. Only it didn’t close due to the enormous boot wedged into its threshold. One loud grunt later and it flung back open, almost hitting him in the face. The War has caused a drop in the population of the wizarding world. To correct the situation, the International Confederation of Wizards is arranging marriages for every witch and wizard of age. The marriages are determined by a soul mate spell. Each couple will have to produce three children minimum. All forms of contraceptive are banned. Please come to the Ministry of Magic at 9:00 on Monday morning to be paired with your soul mate. If you do not show up to receive your fiancé(e) on the date above, you will be exiled from the wizarding world.
Sincerely,
Rufus Scrimgeour
Minister of Magic
*Completely AU* In a world where Voldemort was never defeated, only a few things matter: pureblood, money and power. All that Ginny Weasley wanted was to survive her 7 years at Hogwarts, a school where the children of the richest and most powerful wizards dominate over others. Denying her natural instincts, she managed to make it into her 6th year without offending any of the cruel and powerful Slytherins - especially that horrible Draco Malfoy. Until one day, she crosses a line, and her peaceful existence is shattered forever. A story filled with adolescent drama, clash of the classes, angst, jealousy, ridiculous pride and love triangles (and squares).Category: Works in Progress
