Agatha Christie's "Endless Night" is one of my favorites and vastly underrated. The clues are in plain sight almost from the beginning; it takes a skillful mind to pick up on them before the murders begin...
I found it odd that Harry and Cho did not embrace during the kiss, barely touched each other at all.
Draco, Ginny and Colin share a flat and live like Muggles for a year.Category: Works in Progress
Great story, please update soon! :)
Author's Response: Thanks, I\'ll try!
SEQUEL TO DRAGON AND ANGEL. Draco and Ginny return from their honeymoon ready to live happily ever after, but their vast differences in background and family values make for an interesting start to their married life. Add Draco's inexperience with pregnant women and the stage is set for hilarity, confusion and embarrassment.Category: Works in Progress
Getting about time for an update, I hope! As always, I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Sorry, the next chapter isn\'t anywhere near ready, but I am working on it!
I loved this story, especially Chapter 10. It was like Mr. Mom visits Daddy Day Care to read about Draco's day of babysitting.
Author's Response: Thanks! I couldn\'t help but put him that situation *eg*
I can't wait for the next chapter! Besides Draco's hilarious adventures in babysitting, I also enjoyed the portrayal of Molly Weasley. She reminds me so much of my late mother-in-law during her hospital stays. Granny (which all the in-laws called her) would sigh and whisper that she didn't want to be any trouble, no one should bother themselves to visit her, but then she would expect everyone to visit, every day. It wasn't easy since we all worked and had families. One Thanksgiving, she was in the hospital with pneumonia. Like Molly, she had been ailing for a few days and didn't tell anyone. She almost had to be dragged to the hospital. Once there, she insisted that the family gather at her house for the traditional turkey dinner, even though she couldn't attend. It was such a mess. Instead of Ginny's cake-baking, I was assigned to cook the turkey. Yeah, right. I bought a cooked one and no one ever knew. I hope to see the next chapter soon! It brightens my day and my mood to read your stories.
Author's Response: Thank you :) Molly is very much like your late mother-in-law! I actually get the job of supplying the family with the \'traditional\' family fare whenever we have a gathering, because my mother-in-law has passed on, and I got the idea from there ;) So glad to know this doesn\'t only happen to me! The next chapter is practically writing itself, so hopefully it will be ready soon :)
I'd love a scene where Angel throws a tantrum like she did in the bridal shop, only with Draco and/or Lucius instead of Ginny. I still don't think either of them took Ginny's report of the incident very seriously. Also I can imagine a scene where Hermione or Pansy goes into labor and gets stuck somewhere with Draco. I don't know how that could be pulled off but it would be hilarious! He'd be a mental case by the time it was all over.
Author's Response: Draco and Lucius will eventually see Angel in full flight *eg* I don\'t think I could be so cruel to Draco. He definitely would need a little stint in St. Mungo\'s locked ward if I left him alone with a laboring woman, who wasn\'t his wife (he\'ll be bad enough when his own baby decides to make an appearance *wink*).
I LOVE that expression "with the stealth of a cat on the prowl" to describe Draco after he arrived home. Since I have three cats, I can picture how it would look. Can't read to read the next installment!
Author's Response: Thanks! Draco is blessed that he can sneak around like that ;) The next installment will be posted in the coming weeks :)
Ohmigod!! It was sooo good! Ginny should have KNOWN not to wear anything from Fred and George. I can't wait to find out what Draco's revenge will be!
Author's Response: Thanks! Well, Ginny never thought that her brothers would do something like that and there wasn\'t a WWW tag in sight ;) The Weasley twins will most certainly feel his displeasure ;)
Can't wait to read the new chapter (hint).
Author's Response: It is coming!
What a wonderful chapter! I laughed so hard at poor Draco's predicament in the bathroom. He might have been trapped in there for hours! Now he does indeed know why women always go to the restroom in "packs." I love how Ginny can stand up to Lucius. I sense trouble ahead for Clare however. Keep writing and posting.
Author's Response: Thank you :) He might very well have been stuck in there for hours, and then his poor ears probably would have fallen off due to an overload of womens business ;) Ginny isn\'t afraid of Lucius, and she has some very powerful weapons to help her deal with him *g* Poor Clare, her hard work is going unappreciated by one little wizard ;)
I really miss reading your updates to this great story. Any chance of one coming soon?
Author's Response: I'm actually working on the next chapter right now! It's coming along nicely after a long period of being painful, so hopefully it won't be long until I can post it :)
You're back! What a wonderful chapter, so funny and sad too. I sensed Clare would not long remain after the previous incident with Drake. The trick wand beating Lucius over the head was so hilarious. I think Draco should go to a Muggle birthing class; it would be a real eye-opener for him. I look forward to the next update (hint).
Author's Response: Thank you! Clare was never going to last long with the likes of Drake ;) Poor Lucius... He's mortified that such a thing would get the better of him. Draco wouldn't last two minutes in a birthing class! It's far better to throw him in the deep end and wait for him to drown *wink*
Loved it!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Sunflower, I wished the same thing but don't hold your breath. The last update was 7 years ago.
I guess it's obvious that this story will never be finished, which is a real shame. It is far superior to many fanfics.
I miss your updates, hope you are going to finish the story.
Who knew happily-ever-after could have an expiration date? New beginnings are hard, but when they happen in the middle of your life, they're infinitely more so.Category: Works in Progress
Can't wait for the next chapter! Good story, though I shed a few tears at the apparent end of the Harry-Ginny romance. But since this is a D/G website, what else could I expect?
You are right; sometimes when the children leave home the parents find themselves strangers under the same roof. I think Harry and Ginny married very young, possibly after she finished her seventh year at Hogwarts. I am the closet author of many H/G fanfics (all unpublished because I keep rewriting them). "My" Harry, as a young adult, has trouble dealing with his past; abused children often do. He expects that marriage to Ginny will automatically fill the hole in his heart caused by the deaths of his parents, Sirius, and Dumbledore. But that is impossible. IMO, "your" Harry has buried his emotions so deeply over the years that he has turned into a different person. He is unable to express his feelings to Ginny, and she is no longer interested in chasing his demons away. That scene where he refused to eat dinner because it was a few minutes late was disturbing, very controlling of Harry, almost abusive. I love your story, however, I NEVER review stories I don't like. I can relate to Ginny's missing the children and feeling like she has no life without them. For years, I put my own life on hold to raise my daughter as a single parent, and now that she's an adult I have no idea what I want to do. Like Ginny, I miss the frantic pace of caring for children and at the same time well remember how exhausted I was while doing it. Once I fell asleep in the car, late one night, while waiting for my daughter to finish a drama club rehearsal. Sorry to natter on; I look forward to reading the next chapter!

Awww, I loved it! :)
Draco was in America and Ginny was in England, it ended soon after that.Category: Completed Short Stories
Two years later Ginny is trying to get plastered in the Leaky Cauldron when Draco finds her and reminds her of what she's been missing.
Awwww, I loved this story! Please write more!
*Final chapter added* Parenting can be overwhelming, even for wizards. Especially when there are teenagers involved. Draco and Ginny, summoned to Hogwarts for a conference with their children's Head of House, share an interlude neither can forget.Category: Completed Short Stories
Awwww, sweet but I wish there was a chapter 2.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked it! By popular demand, there will be a second chapter; it\'ll go up around New Year\'s.
I LOVE clear-cut endings, but I can guess what this one probably was. I never review stories I don't like, so I must like yours! It was very well-written and entertaining.
