An explosion in the Potions classroom leaves behind a raving Potions Master, a bloody Draco, and a certain redhead we all love having a moment of altruistic weakness. Ginny's kindness makes Draco very suspicious, leading him to destroy her goodwill. In retribution, Ginny decides to put some embarrassing information about Draco to good use. Squee! *shakes hand wildly in perfect impression of Hermione* I'm still reading! I'll wait for updates, albeit impatiently. :)

Ginny Weasley is sent to stay with her grandparents until the war ends, as her parents want to keep her out of harm's way. Her grandparents have another guest, another person in hiding, and a relationship quickly blossoms between them. However, with the war and so many secrets around them, Ginny isn't sure how to make it work. Fluffy occasionally, but things can't always be perfect, can they? Decisions have to be made and consequences dealt with.Category: Works in ProgressFor a fleeting moment, she imagined that they would never hear from their families again, that they would remain together in Tuscany until they were old and gray, with great-grandchildren. Much to her surprise, the thought didn’t make her as sad as she thought it should.
You're right; there was a lot to be said this time. There's something to be said for lots of dialogue. It's great how you can keep Draco in character and have him be sympathetic at the same time.
Ginny and Draco must take a cross-country road trip in a Honda Civic in order to find Mad-Eye Moody and Harry Potter, who have been sucked through a wormhole into another dimension of time and space, a land of unimaginable bizarreness... Southern California. Much madness and satire of American pop culture ensues! Will Draco get a makeover that involves leather pants? Why are male wizards in Santa Monica wearing push-up bras? And what's with the drugged-out hippie elves? Read this fic and find out... ;)Category: Works in Progress

Author's Response: *grins* Mine or just fluff in general? Anyway - thank you for the review! :D

*snorts* Snape for the win!
After an unexpected attack on Hogsmeade takes the lives of several loved ones, Ginny Weasley is left with only grief as a remnant of war. But what she never anticipated, in the wake of all the tragedy, was to find her will to live again in the form of a bawling, grey-eyed baby left to die in the wreckage of battle... the baby of Draco Malfoy. REVISED VERSION.Category: Long and Completed
Let me start by saying that this is a really good story. ^^ Your plot is well thought out, and you know exactly what you're doing. I love the the little mysteries that you leave unsolved at the end of a chapter. Like a good suspense novel you know how to keep your readers guessing ;)
Your writing style simply blows my mind; you have an effortless way with words that completely bowls me over. Your characterizations, I think, are spot on. I adore your Lucius. I think he's my favourite Lucius ever written and you've written him remarkably well for a supporting character. Actually, I've seen main characters with less depth. You keep them true to the Malfoy characterization (Draco and Lucius) while imbuing them with heart and hidden facets to their personalities. ^_^
I love your D/G and the adorable way they refuse to call each other by their given names. It reminds me of Anna's bodyguards in Chasing Liberty -- how they'd flirt on a last name basis, lol!
I'm pretty much a sucker for any story involving children, but you've brought Will to life for me and made him a very tangible force for keeping D/G together.
Ginny's character is a delightful balance between stubborn and impetuous, and I always look forward to her POVs (not that Draco's are lacking in any way ;P). I love how you turned her Gryffindor recklessness into an admirable trait ;)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you like my Lucius; he can be difficult to write, but I love to make him interesting and not stereotypically evil. And I am also very amused with how they call each other only by their last name; I haven't heard of Chasing Liberty, actually, but now I want to check it out! Thanks again for your wonderful review.
A silly drabble about what would inevitably happen if Harry and Ginny ever got (God forbid) married. Anyone expecting intricate plotting or vast character development will be disappointed, but leather pants are involved, however tangentially.Category: Completed Short Stories
Silly, as you said. But Draco in leather pants was a must read. It's amusing enough :)
Who knew happily-ever-after could have an expiration date? New beginnings are hard, but when they happen in the middle of your life, they're infinitely more so.Category: Works in Progress
*giggling madly* I'm in love with this story! It's weird, because I usually hate things that take so long to develop, but you have all sorts of entertaining bits in between to compensate. :D
Lily is something else; there must be more than one recessive gene in the Weasley/Potter pool, because having a fashionista in the family couldn't have been part of the plan. XD
Eagerly awaiting more,
Robyn
*makes author happy* Woohoo! I'm looking forward to the fun! Draco's up to no good. :D
I love scheming old women and best friends. Ginny's mental comments are beyond amusing, and her descriptions are always interesting. They make me pause and read it again. Lol. For example the imagery of a monsoon-sodden forest isn't one I've heard before. :D
Thanks for the update. I'm waiting impatiently for more. :)

"He hasn’t woken up beside her in almost twenty years, but he still wakes each morning thinking she’s there."Category: Completed Short Stories
Nineteen years later, Astoria watches her husband and Ginny Potter at the train station.
I've seen some different characterizations of Astoria, and I feel like this one is truer to her character as JKR intended than the rest. You'd need pride and a good sense pf discretion to be the wife of a Malfoy. It's the better part of valour, so at least she's semi-courageous. ;)
You handled the first person narrative well and it really helped to carry off the self-reflective tone of the fic. The lack of dialogue takes nothing away from the story and the brevity adds extra moodiness. It just seems so Astoria to know exactly what's going on in Draco's head and not move until she's entirely sure of what she's doing. She is a Slytherin, after all.
I liked it, and sorry for the almost-epic review.

Ginny Weasley receives an offer she can't refuse. At least that is how it all started...Category: Works in Progress
Oh how you tease me with the Draco/Ginny/Blaise. Oh how you tease ;)
This was charming and witty, and I demand a vignette chronicling the 5 years in between. It was nice to see Blaise/Luna and Tracey/Greg side pairings, though from you I expect nothing less ^^

The idea of "renting" her soul out to anyone - let alone a former Slytherin nemesis - did not sit well with Ginny Weasley. But circumstances always tend to go askew and when she finds herself in a dire position, Ginny has no choice but to relent, accepting the deal and the seven wishes offered as payment.Category: Long and Completed
Very good first chapter. The dark second scene provided a good contrast with the humour of the first.
The characterizations are well done. I particularly like the explorations if Ginny's 'dark side'. It' sad that she wished it away though, because I see it as a part of who she is. Draco is all that is devious and underhanded :) I like the way you subtly hint at a budding attraction between them. Very subtle :)
I'm all agog with anticipation!
I was also dangerously tempted to show them my own Dark Mark and start cackling maniacally while closing in on them and murmuring stuff about candy houses and baked children, when they at last got the clue and buggered the hell away from my property. This is my favourite line ever XD It's brilliant!
You have a knack for making Draco amusing while still retaining his Slytherin-ness. I want to see what Ginny's like without her darkness, what possible side effects there are. Love this, Lirie. :)
Oh, this was absolutely splendid! It was so much fun to read and so delightfully in character for everyone. Luna was pure genius!
I loved the line in Chap. 5 about Ginny being a 'two dimensional character in an overly exerted novel'. Total win! X) *dances*
Dialogue!fic! Right at the end. Wonderful! Your dialogue fics are always a blast to read and this one delivered just like all the others. I love their banter. The main draw of this relationship os the banter between Gin and Draco. Your banter is well written - witty and sarcastic keeping with the characters. I also find it hilarious that Harry was run over by a motor vehicle. X) Great work, a fun read. I'll be revisiting it :)
Draco snorted. “You haven’t won. The Boy Wonder’s won. Don’t fool yourself Ginny, you’re nothing but a groupie.”Category: Completed Short Stories
She looked at him with solemn eyes. “You’re wrong.”
Draco and Ginny have one last conversation.
I really like your characterization of Draco. It feels spot on. The boy certainly has matured since the end of the War; it's inevitable that he's learned to resign himself to whatever the Fates have in store for him.
I love the angsty atmosphere and the undertone of impending doom. It's almost as if you can tell she'll leave him, as much as you don't want it to happen.
Ginny never thought Draco Malfoy would become her guardian...But then, he never thought she would become his.One-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
You got tears this time.
Um, WOW. That was tragic and moving. So many maybes mixed with the gruesome reality. The acceptance of the characters and how you let them finally be rescued (in so many different ways) was just indescribably heartwrenching.
My favourite line: "How ironic, he thought, almost detachedly, that he should discover his heart was alive, and beating, moments before it died."
Gah just about sums it up. ^^
Author's Response:
Thank you! Wow...I'm sorry it made you cry, but I'm flattered to hear it did! It means you really connected emotionally with the characters.
As you can see, I have a penchant for writing bittersweet one-shot; with emphasis on "bitter".
Again, I'm happy to see that you've grasped the message behind the fic; he DID die, but he kind of won in the end, because he was free, and it was thanks to Ginny- as it well should be! ^_^
Draco brings out thirteen darn good excuses, but none of them seem to be working. Inspired by this site's "blanket" skin.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh, wow. This was so adorably cute. I love that we got to watch their relationship "develop", and Draco's denial (which is NOT just a river in Egypt, apparently) was the icing on the fluffy cake.
Aside from content, I think this was an interesting format for a story - like a series of drabbles, except in a different style. The List puts an innovative spin on an almost-ancient pairing. :)
Author's Response: Thank you!

That's the spirit, Ginny. You'll believe anything if you tell yourself long enough ;)
Draco and his bloody IMAGES. I swear, teatime just took on a whole new meaning in my head.
That chapter left me with a huge grin on my face. I'm glad we get to see how they started! Thanks a lot, guys :D
Myn's Draco is unbelievable - the snark alone makes me love him. And, Persephone, your Ginny manages to be feisty, professional AND feminine all in one breath.
Bunty is priceless! "Tradesmen's entrance is to rear." I love that little fella. :)
Ooh! That imagery, Draco - *fans self*
Lol, I loved "bureaucratic parchment pusher". Brilliant line XD
I wonder what's in Draco's hidden cubby...
