Convicted and incarcerated after the war, Draco is unexpectedly given a new lease on life.Category: Works in Progress
Grumpy, beleaguered Draco is always funny, and much more so when nausea and revenge plots are thrown in. :D Your secondary characters leap off the page, and your prose really packs a punch. It's a great pleasure to read this story.
Author's Response: LOL, I'm sure Draco wouldn't appreciate us enjoying his misery, but I'm glad you do. Thank you for your thoughtful reviews!
"This wasn't so difficult, and he was perfectly capable of managing a double life."
I do love how you torture Draco with seas of trailing gasps, glorified metal death traps, and over-excited house elfs sworn to secrecy. Fantastic twist with Dennis! Not moving too slow for this reader, not at all.
Author's Response: Hee, well, it's good to keep him on his toes. I'm glad Dennis was a surprise! And thank you for being okay with the pace of the story; there's a lot of set-up and not a lot of D/G interaction yet so I thought I might be losing some people along the way. Anyway, it's good to know that it's working for you! Thank you for your lovely reviews!
Ooh, that was a lovely step towards detente! Heh heh. Well done. And thank you for tossing in the wonderful Muggle quotes here and throughout the story.
Author's Response: Hee, eventually they're just going to have to accept that they are meant to be. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment!
So thrilling to see another chapter of this. I love the symmetry of each of D & G yearning (unwillingly) for the other during Draco's absence, and the beautiful descriptions that abound (the dandelions seeds, and various other passages to numerous to note). Also the silly Latin phrases. Tee hee! Really great work. Your muse rocks.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! It's still a bit of a long way before they yearn for each other willingly, but it's a start, eh? :) My muse, alas, decided to abandon me, so I'm stuck at the moment!
A knock sounded at her door, and Ginny smiled slightly. Five years of absolute closeness, yet Draco refused to be ‘vulgar.’ Knocking on the door, he said, was more honorable than simply bursting into her home or appearing in her fireplace. Giving her the privacy she needed, he said, was more upstanding than forcing his company on her when unwanted.Category: Works in Progress
I love the contrast between Draco's gentle, if sometimes gruff, treatment of her and her obvious mistreatment by Jaret. The last two lines of the chapter are beautiful, as are many within it. Bravo.
Author's Response: Well, I won't go into it at the moment, because the story isn't finished yet, but yes, that is the idea! Ha! Thank you so much!
Fresh-faced Ministry employee meets her... nemesis?Category: Works in Progress
Written by Mynuet and Persephone33.
For fear of losing all control over my time I've held out on reading si_muove, but you two may have just convinced me otherwise! Well done.
Author's Response: *evil laugh* Our plans have worked!
At the dawn of a new millennium, Draco and Ginny meet unexpectedly on the banks of the Thames.Category: Completed Short Stories
How lovely! Thank you for the New Year's Eve gift.
Author's Response: Thank you very much!
Draco and Ginny commemorate a new beginning.Category: Completed Short Stories
Smut from seegrim? What a way to start the new year! I snickered, I sighed, and I loved it. Good job. (Poor Draco and Ginny--'another' engagement story they can't tell the family. *smiles*)
Author's Response: *laughs* Yes, smut from seegrim. :) I'm glad you liked it! Your review really made my day! -seegrim :)
I push away from the bed, or it pushes me away, and I grip my chair. My eyes don’t leave Draco’s thin face, and I marvel at the silvery white of his hair and eyebrows and eyelashes, itching to touch them, but death won’t allow me; I have respect for the dead.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh my god, this is amazing. If you found it difficult to create this angst then you must have had a very hard time indeed writing this story, because every word aches with sorrow. Really well done and well written. Congratulations on a job well done.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm interested to hear that, and I appreciate the feedback. Thanks again.
The black alder tree had always enjoyed the visits from that slight, freckled girl with the strawberry hair that shone in the sunlight. But when she shows up one day, her heart clearly broken, the tree knew that everything had already changed. Voted for "Best Prose" on the Fall 2008 D/G Fic Exchange.Category: Works in Progress
This is simply beautiful! I loved reading it in the fic exchange and it only improves on further readings. The image of the tree watching over the family, and Ginny's attachment to it, is a gorgeous way to frame the changes she is going through. For someone who claims to not write angst you do it very well--as you also did in Notes on Falling Out of Love.
I am thrilled that you've posted the next chapter of this, as I loved it on the dgficexchange! I hope the RL things keeping you so busy are mostly good ones.
Four years after The Battle of Hogwarts, Voldemort lives and the war is dragging on. With no end in sight, Draco is forced to take drastic action after receiving information that what he values most is in significant danger... his children.Category: Completed Short Stories
Wow--that was great. Fantastic writing, suspense, symmetry, restraint (I think that must be the hardest thing to learn about writing). I loved it. Looking forward to reading more of your work!
Author's Response: I'm very glad that you enjoyed it. There is no greater joy in writing than to know others found enjoyment in it as well. Thanks for the review. :D
Once upon a time there lived a princess. She lived in an odd-looking castle far away in a land called Ottery St. Catchpole with her father, the king, her mum, the queen, and her six older brothers, the princes.Category: Completed Short Stories
Totally adorable and very clever. Nice job!
Transitioning to the Muggle world is hard, but it's a bit easier with some help.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was one of my favorite fics at the past dgficexchange, and I'm so glad you posted it here. Post-war fics with Slytherins grappling in a new world are my personal soft spot. So much interesting material to mine, and you two did a fabulous job on this story. The idea of the Slytherins banding together in a Halfway House in the muggle world is fascinating. Bravo.
A chubby Draco and the physical trainer from hell. What more can I say? A D/G twist on dieting and an ending sweeter than candy floss. Enjoy. :)Category: Long and Completed
Ooh, this is fabulous! And very original. Can't wait to see Draco's pain mount. *heh*
Author's Response: Thanks! I did aim for originality. I almost feel bad for Draco, but I manage to get over it quickly. :)
I so love a Draco surrounded by strong women - mother, employees, Ginny - who can outwit him when it's called for. Well done on that score!
Also, congrats to Draco on losing almost two stone (= almost 24 lbs?) ! And of course he would admire himself in the mirror for five minutes, verifying that he's "ready to show the world that he, Draco Malfoy, was back to his superior self". Oh Draco, so vain.
Author's Response: LOL! Yes, our sweet, conceited Draco is under the impression that he's in control, but really, it's just the girls who let him think that he is. :) He has no idea. I love that about him in this fic. Thank you so much! (and so nice to see the review from you!!!!!)
Hugs!

While at the Ministry’s Auror training academy, Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy learn that being friends might be harder than being foes. Or, “And that’s why you don’t teach your worst enemy lessons.”Category: Long and Completed
I really enjoyed reading this here and on the dgficexchange. There are lots of little details that make the story believable and memorable (no way would that alarm clock survive past day one with Draco). I know you must hear this all the time, but surely there must have been a collective squee heard 'round the world when d/g fans found that you'd written another d/g fic! Thank you.
This story does not have a happy ending, as you’ll soon learn. It might have, once. I’m sure there was a point, along the way, that something happened, something that ruined everything. I’m sure. But the problem is, I can’t find it.Category: Works in Progress
Why doesn't this story have more reviews? It's fantastic: fascinating and well-written. I was hooked after the first chapter, and am much more so now after the third. I eagerly await the next installment.
Author's Response:
I have no idea! LOL. I'd love to have more reviews or even readers, but it seems this story puts people off. Well, at least the responses I have gotten are positive. :)
The truth is, updates for this story will take a LONG TIME. But they will appear eventually, and I will love if you keep reading. :D
How many Dracos does it take to work a Muggle invention?Category: Completed Short Stories
That was very cute, and a wonderful story idea. I can totally see Ginny torturing Draco with Muggle devices this way!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! The concept was niggling at my mind for a little bit, until I finally decided to write it. I'm happy I did, because I enjoyed every second! I am glad the scenarios are realistic enough that you can see them happening! =]
It’s a well known fact that Luna Lovegood believes in many ridiculous theories, such as the existence of strange creatures that nobody else seems to be able to see. But when one of those creatures comes to life before her very eyes, a new quest is formed, and she sets to work trying to discover what to do along with two very unenthusiastic people: Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was a fun and sweetly crazy stroll into the dotty side of magic. Love the chatty narrative tone. Also, Luna is the perfect vehicle for this plot. If this is "not your best", what is and where can I find it?
“Don’t you have plans?” “They can wait.” Short pieces examining moments in Draco and Ginny’s unorthodox relationship.Category: Works in Progress
I can only second what everyone else has already said. How wonderful to read something new from you!
Draco Malfoy, at only sixteen, is given a seemingly impossible task that will call for him to harness every ounce of wit and courage that he posseses. Hogwarts is no longer safe, with watchful eyes stalking his every move. However, this problematic situation becomes increasingly troublesome as this thorn meets his rose...Category: Works in Progress
Read on for Draco's untold (that is, until now) version of HBP.
I really like the way you are fleshing out the details of Draco's point of view leading into the events of book 6. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks, haha that's my favourite part! Making all these connections between canon and fanfiction is alot of fun. I do it even more in the next chapter :) I'd love to read your reviews in the future.
“Must be nice,” the girl’s voice continued, “to have lasted this long in our crazy world before you were forced to see death.”Category: Completed Short Stories
“I don’t know what you mean,” Draco replied stiffly.
“Don’t you?” the girl laughed. “Well, the Thestrals never lie, Draco Malfoy. It’s too bad you’re the cause of your own loss of innocence.”
Very interesting and realistic take on Draco's POV. I enjoyed it very much and always love seeing a new fic from you.
"The next morning she awoke to a red rose laid carefully on the pillow beside her. Once a sign of his love, now the ruby petals stood only as a symbol of his betrayal."Category: Completed Short StoriesJust in time for Halloween, a horror story examining the ways betrayal and repressed pain can warp and twist the heart and mind. Not a story for the light of heart.
So glad you posted this here! It's just as creepy as when I first read it. How I love a seriously twisted Lucius. Take a bow, Maleficent.
Some say that a single flap of a butterfly’s wings in Bengal can set off a tornado in Texas. Well, butterflies are another story, but certain dairy products have been known to change lives. [AU]Category: Completed Short Stories
Wow. That was delightful, funny, and, while about cheese, decidedly (okay, I can't stop myself; I have to say it) not cheesy.
Author's Response: Haha, thank you. Exactly what I was going for - although, would you believe it, that pun never occured to me in the process of writing it?
