love the detail.. just 1 question: is draco using his wand or wandless magic to take down the wards of the manor?
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. To answer your question: Draco was using wandless magic to dismantle the wards - in my head, it was actually a very hands on encounter. I realize in Chapter 18 that he used his wand and a spell Bill had given him, but when I was trying to write this out, that just didn't work. It didn't work for the picture I had in my head, and it didn't work with the way I had described magic in Chapter 18 or in Chapter 4 (Ravenclaw's Wand, whichever chapter that was). So I tried to make it clear (and apparently, didn't do such a good job) that this time around, Draco didn't need the spell or the wand - he demanded (as master) that the wards show themselves. That said, to (maybe) further clarify, for all intents and purposes in this fic - wands don't create magic, they are a tool to help focus magic - the same way spells are a tool. Essentially, if the character had a clear picture of what they wanted to happen and the focus to create it, they would never have to use a wand. I hope that helps clarify for you - both the fact that there was no wand and why it wasn't necessary. Thank you for the review!

Draco took upon himself the role of a chastity-belt when it comes to one Miss Weasley. Zealously devoted to his job, perhaps he’d developed the tendency of going a bit too far.Category: Completed Short Stories

Chapter SIXTY-NINE quote of the day:
Ginny scowled at him. “You don’t know me very well.”
Draco shook his head, his eyes more sorrowful than ever. “No. I don’t. Eternity wouldn’t be long enough for that.”
“Why do I feel as if we’ve suddenly wandered into the set of a men’s cologne commercial?” complained Lucifer.
“Can’t you keep your damn mouth shut, Lucifer?” spat Draco.
“Please… really… I don’t think you should talk to him that way,” whispered Ginny.
