A Vesica/Mynuet Collaboration. If Ginny had even the slightest inkling of what the day would bring, she probably would have called in sick. A disastrous press conference proved to be no match for the spin doctoring talents of Lush's chief and Ginny finds herself catapulted from being a lowly intern to the very eye of the storm, living a double life as a careerwitch and glamorous front woman for a racy new line. Throw in a few A-list events, a few dozen crises, an endless promotional tour with her new co-worker and the last person she wanted to spend time with, and a mystery waiting back home that neither of them may be able to solve….Every day's an adventure when you're living the Lush Life!Category: Works in Progress
"The smooth, hated voice cut through the din and made Ginny see red... Or maybe that was her hair in her eyes."
you have no idea how much I love such sentences :D
Author's Response: Ves and Myn say: We are sort of fond of those too. Thanks!
So ... read through it one go and ... love it. I'm usually the dark/angsty type of girl but this is a wonderfully nice and fresh change from all the other drama. Ginny is so brilliantly spunky! *grins*
added to favourites! Hope you both had a wonderful christmas time!! And happy new year!
Author's Response: Ves and Myn say: Thanks and thrilled you are enjoying this!
In progress. Ginny commemorates the fifth anniversary of her death and finds herself face to face with someone from her past.Category: Works in Progress
WONDERFUL! How will they get out of this? I love the idea, make the most of it!
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it!
Draco Malfoy fancies himself a connoisseur of fine wine and fine women, but a string of encounters with Ginny Weasley teaches him that he still has something to learn about both.Category: Long and Completed
*claps* a wonderful and lovely story to end a peaceful evening. It was interesting and it makes me smile to see more people like wine ANd appreciate everything else about the topic.
Thank you :)
Author's Response: Your're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the story! It's always nice to hear from other people who also like wine. :)
*COMPLETE* Destiny knew better than to bring these two together. One man, determined to draw back an errant Malfoy, is not so wise, and Ginny soon finds herself caught up in events that are not quite Fate.Category: Long and Completed
been reading through it all in one go and ... now I simpl have to review ^^ lov it so far. Ginny is SO what I imagine her to be like and Draco is way too sexy for his own good xD Anyway, me being from Germany I nearly keeled over in "shock" and surprise. It's always so ... shocking to suddenly read something in your own language ;) Though, maybe you'd like to know that I think the translation is a little ... too weird xD I personally would go with "Kerze des Interesses" or "Candle des Interesses" if you want to stick with Candle. Another thing I'd like to know is why you think "Henrik Lichtman" means "candle-maker"? Does Henrik have a certain meaning? I really don't know. "Lichtmann" (yes, with two n) would mean "Lightman" in german ...
anyway, I'm babbling and actually I sososo want to know when Draco and Ginny finally acknowledge that they have to shag each other senseless xD

*drops dead of utter amazement and wants a draco herself - now! and she advices the auhor to quickly go about this or else things might get ugly*
*drops from where ever she was sitting* OH HELL! And just NOW I have to stop reading because we drive back home in a matter of minutes ... I won't be able to read more for another ... 8 hours ... DAMN!
OH MY! For starters - hell I love Nott! Loved him before. Not because he's such a carming chap to be around but simply how you brilliantly kept us readers from really being sure about his motives! I suspected he wasn't all cuddly with our darling lord for a while now but every once in a while you gave him a twist that made me wonder again. Though after the Dementor thing I was sure that he was "on the right side" so to speak. And hell I love how he now "helps" Draco!
Anyway ... yep, still here. We were spposed to be on our way already but darling dad got hold up and so we're still stuck which means - MORE READING TIME FOR ME! Yeah for that xD
*off to more NQF goodness*
oh and while we're at it - GOD DAMN IT PLEASE make Snape be a good guy, too :P
btw: do you have a livejournal? I'd love to know because from what you write in your notes you seem like a loveble and spunky person I'd love to have on my flist ;) my name would be "purely_distel" should you be interested :)
Author's Response: nope, no livejournal. i\'ve always thought about getting one, but just never got around to it. i\'m more of a facebook person. but thank you for your comments! (both on my personality and my writing. i don\'t think anyone\'s ever called me \"spunky\" before. i like it haha =p)
thank you so much girl! This story is .. was ... still is amazing! Draco is so bloody spot-on it scares me and - let me just say I'm grateful you refrained from writing "Harry playing the big bad Hero" into it! I'm not that into Harry, you know.
Thank you for bringing this wonderful story to us. I know I'm late - no idea why I never read this one before - I'm weird like that.
Thanks again and I hope thing's @ the newspaper are still working the way they should ;)
The stunning secret ending of Book 7, now revealed! As presented in my two presentations at Lumos. Okay, there's more than that, but I wanted that part to show up at the beginning of the summary! Read the twisted web of theories about love potions, Snape, H/G, JKR's unorthodox religious beliefs, secret gospels, and, yes, endings to Book 7. Extra D/G information added for this archive! You'll laugh! You'll cry! You'll fall in love with canon all over again.Category: Essays
*claps enthusiasticaly* Oh my ... BRILLIANT! I have to say a lot of what you wrote and what you believe in were things that loomed in my mind for years but that I never was able to put to words. Now they seem a bit more shaped and generaly more real for me. I have to say, my approach of the H/G topic was, before HBP always this one: "I believe in R/Hr with all my heart and have to say that H/G becoming a couple does seem logic in many ways. My head, you could say, is a H/G shipper were as my heart is not. At all. If anyone can convince me it has to Mrs. Rowling herself." As it turned out, she didn't. Really. All the "beast in Harrys chest" nonsense just didn't fit and so, by the end of HBP it was clear as a christalball for me that H/G have no satisfying future ahead of them. Sure, the whole OBHWF theory has it's appeals but ... not enough. I have to say, I discovered D/G as a couple only after HBP. Don't ask me why. It certainly wasn't because I only went with the conventional way (my dirty secret used to Draco/Hermione :O) but after the changes Ginny went through in the last two books came to my mind I have to say, her character fit's to Draco wonderfully. She is fiery, (com)passionate, full of live and oh so forbiden for the blond guy. So when he finally kisses the Dark Arts goodbye (which I am positiv he will) he needs some new "Dark Side" to be attracted to, right? Well, this is far fetched but just one of the many things to add to the "D/G fit together" list.
Well, actually I have no idea what I am talking about right now. Or more, why I am writing this *laughes*
one last point though. I am a R/Hr, D/G and George/Luna fan by heart BUT, just like you said, I can see all the various appeals one can have for all the other pairings! H/Hr do have a lot of potential, as have Draco/Pansy in their own twisted way. So I really happy to see in you someone who recedes from all this pointless "shipping wars". Really people ... *shakes head*
One thing I am convinced about after reading this though is that ... you are a secret Harry/The giant Squid shipper ;) Never have I seen anyone mention this pairing so many times in one essey :D
I wish a good day and will go on reading your aother fabulous stories!

HA! That's what you get, Potter, for being a sodding depressed skinny no one with a weirdo Hero complex :D HA!
Author's Response: *snerk* A Harry fan, are you?

so. haven't even begun reading the first chapter and already feel the need to review simply because ... I read you notes (Story and chapter notes) and agree so WHOLEHEARTEDLY that I fell in love with you on, well, first read *laughs* Now let's just see if the story makes me love you even more ;)
"Two days after losing Lily to Hogwarts, I pulled myself out of the mini-depression I'd been wallowing in, firmly telling myself that self-pity was a luxury that I didn't need. Once upon a time, I'd been a talented witch with dreams and ambitions that extended beyond having a husband and children and a nice home. With this new resolve, I sat down to breakfast with Harry, blazing with drive."
HELLUFFASENTENCE! And I love you for it! this is the Ginny I fell in love with and the Ginny Draco loves! HELL YES!
"That receding hairline you've been harping on for two years now is nothing more than his hair pulled back in a too-tight ponytail, Harry, and we both know it. Besides that, he was looking rather trim."
Take that, Rowling *nods*
And I really liked how you portrait Harry here. A little distant, yes, but he does care. Just not as much as he should ... good mix :)
*smiles* that was simply a wonderfully cute chapter with great Ginny spunkiness ;)
"Son," Draco deadpanned
I was laughing so hard reading this and I didn't really know why ... *shakes head*
can't wait for the next chapter!!!
Ginny is twenty four, and the war rages on. Draco is a Death Eater, and he needs her help. Of course, he doesn't give her a choice. Now she's surrounded by the enemy. She begins to see that not everything is black and white. Can she come to terms with her new role in his life?Category: Works in Progress
First review from me simple because ... the ending was brilliant xD!!! It shows such a nice, eventhough small shift in their relationship :)
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m glad you liked it.
oh brilliant! I now officially addicted to this story!! Draco is described wonderful and ... well, I don't know it has a certain charm :)
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m trying to show that he isn\'t all warm and fuzzy, but he isn\'t horrible either.

ok ... totally not what I expected but unbelievably good!! I love how you showed that sometimes dying is so mch better then staying alive. And the way Ginny was oblivious to so much that was going on - or not going on - because her mind was so sat on "fighting!".
loved its bittersweet tone :)
Author's Response: Thanks! It wasn\'t what I expected, either. I\'m glad you liked it.
