Christmas at Hogwarts. No one should have to be alone. Part of Draco/Ginny Ficmas 2003Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh! That was so cute! I was exclaiming things in my bedroom as I read it because it as simply wonderful! :) Nice work!
Ginny Weasley finds that she can hide, but she can't run.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh that was cute! I liked it a lot! I thought it was going to be angsty but everything turned out all right, and Draco was snarky!funny.
Ginny, Draco, Quidditch, and entirely too close quarters. Being forced to train, play, and live with Draco for a season gives Ginny a whole new understanding of and appreciation for the amazing bouncing ferret. Ginny's POV.Category: Long and Completed
WAAAAI you updated!! And you finished one of my favorites!! I loved the "fight" they had there, it was perfectly executed, and extremely believable. :D I'm so excited that you wrote again, even if just one chapter! Now hopefully you write some more of the fics....?? :D :D
(As a Yankees fan, I find Doug Mientkiewicz to suck hardcore, and I wish that WE would trade him somewhere ELSE where he can take his .100 batting average AWAY!)
Author's Response: Oh, poor Doug. Believe it or not, he used to be really awesome.
Creamtea reveals the shocking truth about why H/G REALLY existed in HBP, and what it meant. Backed up with solid canon evidence! Surprises! Unassailable logic! A D/G ending! Read it and explore the mystery...Category: Essays
This was great! Such a high level of research, I can't wait to see how you find sections of the film that could hint at things. I thought it was obvious how Rowling was adding in things she felt were important perhaps even beyond the books- like the Ron and Hermione scene in the third movie, with the hand holding. She put that there for a reason- and it's obvious why she did it. I'd like to read about more things she made sure to include in the films like that, little things that make people think. :)
Two and a half years after his failure to kill Albus Dumbledore, Draco has long been accepted back into the ranks of the Death Eaters. He is still obsessively searching for the rebel Ginny Weasley, but he hides that secret well. When she is found one snowy December night, he smuggles her onto the Death Eaters? train with him. And he begins to learn that nothing will ever be the same again?Category: Works in Progress
Oh you continue to amaze me. I like how the last few chapters have picked up in pace a bit by way of plotline, and I liked the Rita Skeeter bit in the press conference. Your dialogue continues to be absolutely top-notch! Anxiously awaiting the marvelous conclusion!
You've really outdone yourself this time- this last chapter was positively brilliant. I liked Snape in this one, especially his last line, and I liked Arthur as well, because it seems that he's made an amazing transformation at last. I hope we see more of Hermione later to finish that particular arc, and I'm glad Harry didn't go evil and chose right over what was easy. The ending- warm fuzzies, because Draco and Ginny deserve to be happy after all of this.
Ahhhhh!! *takes parachute and prepares it* This has just gone shooting off into excitement and I wasn't prepared for it and now I want MORE. :D I love the dark turn on Harry... it's so believable the way you've crafted everything together. Poor Ginny! Poor Draco! *prepares chute* Oh, and have some more virtual cookies. :)
Ooh I seem to always review the chapters in spurts because there are times I can't get online to read them.
I love the Snape/Draco interaction, and I'm glad Draco finally told him that he wished Snape was his father- it's a sentiment you've been crafting for some time, and I think it's been very well executed.
I am waiting patiently for the mystery of Bellatrix to unravel! I can't help but like Snurk just because of who he is... but I share Draco's irritation with the half-dementor. ;)
Can't wait for more updates!
*readies torches, boiling oil, and tar and feathers for Rita Skeeter*
*looks around the room and prepares parachute too*
I'm ready. Skeeter will die. Draco must get lovely letters from Ginny. Poor Snape! I can't believe there is still more after all of this happened... and I feel so bad for the Potions Master. I hope things get cleared up in the coming chapters about all these crazy plot twists! :D
Anything coming from Harry or Hermione?
AHHHH that was amazing. Look I can't even type coherently, that's how amazing it was. It was a perfect wrap for the end of "part one" as you say, and I'm very anxious to see how the story will unfold henceforth. You've got a magical touch with stories, and I can't wait for it to continue! :D
Riveting. I'm insanely curious to see what is really going on with the Robbins boys... after all, I had forgotten all about them until they were brought up again recently. I think I see why the 70 chapter mark is going to fall so short... ;) More chapters make me happy, so I'm fine with it! :D Love it, as always!
I'm sorry I haven't been reviewing due to absolutely no free time, but I just read all the most recent chapters and I love the revisiting of the NC-17 juicy bits. Quite wonderful and squirm-inducing, as always, and I loved the coyness between Draco and Ginny in this most recent chapter. Wonderful work!
OOOH. Anticipation is very exciting. That was a wonderful ending, I had thought perhaps Ginny would do something like that. And I am much enjoying the renewed Ron in the story- you write him so snarkily well. ;) And I LOVE the book titles- how long did it take to come up with those??
When Ginny and Harry get engaged, Draco must finally face his feelings about her... or risk losing her to another wizard.Category: Works in Progress
Oooh! I liked this one a lot. Crete should be fun with our weasel and ferret... ;) Looking forward to the next one!
*COMPLETE* Destiny knew better than to bring these two together. One man, determined to draw back an errant Malfoy, is not so wise, and Ginny soon finds herself caught up in events that are not quite Fate.Category: Long and Completed
I just read through all the chapters of this and am now anxiously awaiting the next. I love the way you've portrayed Draco, and I want to know what's up with the Death Eaters, and gaaaah I love all of your writing but this is my favorite. :D
Yay update!! I got very excited upon seeing another chapter, I'm totally into the whole Nott thing now. I figured him for not being totally evil and having some other intentions, but what? Ahhh cliffhangers are evil. ;) ;) Anxiously awaiting the next installment!!
OH GOD. I've been horribly bad at reviewing but DAMN. That last scene packed such a punch. And I've really grown to love Naomi, and Nott, and okay see I'm babbling again. Upon realizing that I was behind I read everything straight through that I had missed- only to find that there wasn't an epilogue yet! *foiled again* LOL so as soon as this gets updated, I WILL be reading the final bit. Oh gosh, you slay me in every possible good way. :) :)
Oh yay this epilogue was SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE DH ONE!! =D I've read this beginning to end, and this was such a satisfying read, I love it, love, love, love and congrats on the promotion! (From someone else who works in the newspaper business, I can only say good luck hee) I love your work, one-shots included, so as long as you keep giving us little snippets every once and awhile I shall be pleased. :D Thanks for the story!
She would no longer need to marry Harry to feel as though she had found her place in the world. He found himself poor and despised at the ripe age of twenty-three, knowing that his best years were far behind him.Category: Works in Progress
Ooh! Well that was quite good. An excellent start, because it puts us in the character's current mindsets, and gives Ginny a little something more, I think. Anxiously awaiting the next chapter!
*Completed* Draco spent his childhood being frozen out by everyone. By his father, by his mother, by everyone in his life. So now he freezes everyone else. It's cold, but it's safe.Category: Long and Completed
A girl with flaming hair and a fiery soul can save him, but only if he'll let her.
This is quite good, are you going to keep going? I enjoy the interactions between what happened in the books, and I can't wait before Ginny starts biting back at him. ;)
Author's Response: Oh, yes. It will definitely be continued. Ginny\'s got a fiery side once she gets a little older. It\'s going to be fun. :)
Draco wants an ideal arrangement. Ginny wants a happily ever after. What they get is each other.Category: Long and Completed
First off that was wonderful! Possibly one of my favorites on this site. ;) Second off, the sex scene was SO PERFECT because I've been through it and honestly, I was laughing and reminiscing at the same time. The tension and romance between the two was excellently drawn out- I'm very impressed! :) I very much enjoyed it, m'dear!
Author's Response: Thanks! With the sex scene, I wanted to get a bit closer to realism than we fanfic writers do most of the time, without losing a sense that there\'s love and enjoyment involved.
"Perhaps it really didn't matter what he was, perhaps it just mattered that he was." Unexpected events lead to unexpected relationships. Can one person be so important to the destruction of Voldemort? Nothing happens by chance, but sometimes, life might be simpler if it did.Category: Works in Progress
GOSH this story is fantastic. I do hope you write more soon, because that last chapter left me ITCHING for more of this fantabulous plotline. It's so IN-CHARACTER and Draco and Ginny are so believable, and yet so stubborn and funny, and oh seriously see now I'm rambling, you HAVE to continue just to get me to stop! :D
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! I'm glad you enjoy it, and hope you found (find?) the rest as entertaining and well characterized (is that a word?).
It was a few days before everything went downhill. Dumbledore was still very alive, Snape was still snootily discriminating, Harry was still drooling over Ginny and she had aquired an admirer.Category: Completed Short Stories
Awww! Are you going to continue it? Because I was squeeing at the notes...
Even if he only got a glimpse of her flame-coloured hair around a corner, it was enough. Enough to keep him breathing. Alive.Category: Works in Progress
Disclaimer: Harry Potter and all of the characters in his world are the property of J.K. Rowling and multiple movie companies and publishing houses. They get all of the money, I only get the pleasure of *breathy sigh* using Draco.
Hahaha I've done the walk of shame. And the ride of shame. And the 'please walk my obviously rumpled self to the bust stop' of shame. And I find your fanfic wonderfully alluring, beautifully written, and highly engrossing. And now if I am done with making myself sound pompous, I can't wait for the next chapter. :D
Author's Response: That made me laugh! "Please walk my obviously rumpled self..." Funny. Thanks for your kind review! I appreciate it!
How would things be different if Draco had accepted Dumbledore's mercy at the end of book six? Follow the canon characters as they are forced into company with Draco and struggle to survive in a warring wizarding world. And yes, there will be romance.Category: Works in Progress
I really like this story, I think you've got a really interesting take, and I love your writing style. I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter. :P
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! :) I'm happy at least someone anticipates the long-coming chapters... that's what keeps me motivated to write them. Lol.
