Can the love of snarkiness bring two people together?Category: Completed Short Stories
This was such a cute story! The business cards were very funny and the idea that Draco would have to give lessons in order to maintain his favorite past time... priceless! Great job! :)
The post-war world is hardly the utopia it claims to be. Freedom is an illusion, and getting into the good graces of those with power takes precedence over morals. In this unhappy world, can Ginny, forced into a marriage of convenience, find happiness? And does she know the people around her as well as she thinks?Category: Works in Progress
Ooohh!! Your Lucius gives me the shivers! I can't wait to find out what he has up his sleeve.
Don't worry about the wait, it was worth it. We all have real life invasions sometimes. :)
During the Great Battle of Hogwarts, amid the fear, death and grief, Ginny Weasley finds hope and friendship in the most unlikely of locations.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was a really beautiful and well written story. The characterizations were both true to canon but yet a believable jumping off point for a budding relationship. Thank you for sharing!
Author's Response: Thank you. I think it was my first attempt to really keep the characters in canon, so I'm so glad that folks are saying I succeeded. I couldn't imagine what it might be like for a sixteen year old to be in a battle, and somehow, it just came from there. Thanks so very much for the review!
In which gravy makes an appearance, quills are snapped, and an uncertain happily-ever-after is inevitable.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was absolutely adorable! I really enjoyed all the back and forth between Draco and Ginny seen through other people's eyes, particularly the bit with Lavender and her subsequent oblivation! Very cute :)
Author's Response: Haha, adorable? Thank you for your review! I'm not entirely sure I handled that scene in the best possible way, but you made me smile. :)
Draco is after Ginny and doesn’t care who knows it. As far as Ginny knows, it's just another game.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was a lovely story. You had me laughing out loud all the way through! I particularly liked the interplay with Ron at the end...
“What do I say now? He’s turning all purple.”
*snickers*
And the last bit.... it really was a good line. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a continuation of this one, it was brilliant!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review. I might get around to a sequel in the future if I have any ideas as far as plot goes.
Many years ago, Draco Malfoy made a choice that led him very far away from Ginny Weasley, and the life that they might have shared. But not only is it hopeless to fight fate, its paths have a strange way of turning when you least expect them to, as a very unexpected person later learns...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter FOURTEEN Quote of the Day:
“It can’t be worse than going to Romania. James is getting worse by the day. Lily doesn’t care about anything but her broom. And Mum and Dad—“ Albus breaks off.
Ginny. Scorpius can feel his face stiffen, and he has to conjure a coughing fit to cover it. Incredible how simply hearing of her, not even hearing her name, is enough to cause that stab of feeling in him. Just when he thinks that he’s over that sort of thing entirely—
“The point is, I’m so glad I can go with you,” sighs Albus.
Maybe I ought to wish that you couldn’t, thinks Scorpius. For your own good.
This is a very intriguing story. I generally don't care for the next generation fictions, but something about this one has kept me turning the page. I really like the way that you are slowly revealing snippets of the past through Scorpius. Keep up the good work, I'll be looking for updates to this one!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Yes, it's weird how this one just sort of came to me when I usually don't like the next gen fics very much either, but for some reason, it did, and it's kept on doing it. ;) More coming soon!
Ron called it the brothel. Dean Thomas called it a good time. Molly and Arthur Weasley preferred not to think about it at all. Such was the response to Ginny Weasley’s latest attempt at playing entrepreneur.Category: Completed Short Stories
This story was really cute! It has put a smile on my face. Thanks for sharing. :)
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. ^_^
The last thing Ginny expected when she got called into work was a promotion; and she certainly didn’t expect the disruption it would cause to her carefully constructed life.Category: Works in Progress
I've really enjoyed this so far and I have absolutely no qualms over you bringing back Fred and Snape! I think you've done a lovely job of painting the world and characters so far. Lucius always seems to be a difficult character to make likable, but you have kept him in character and made him sympathetic. I look forward to reading more in the future.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Glad you’re enjoying the characters thus far. I do adore Lucius as well, and I prefer to make him not so much the demon that he tends to be in a lot of FF (I’ve done that trope as well). Thanks again for your review!
