This is simply beautiful! I loved reading it in the fic exchange and it only improves on further readings. The image of the tree watching over the family, and Ginny's attachment to it, is a gorgeous way to frame the changes she is going through. For someone who claims to not write angst you do it very well--as you also did in Notes on Falling Out of Love.

Lovely so far- I think I may hop over to the exchange to read the whole thing. I particularly love the opening sequence from the tree's perspective- it was beautiful and quiet and haunting. Excellent job!
