Damn you, Ginny. Why couldn't you just tell him? This is making me sad. Bah. I knew I should have read a cute, fluffy fic instead.

Author's Response: That will be the tag line of this fic. "I should have read a cute, fluffy fic instead"

I'm sobbing. Big, fat tears are rolling down my face right now. *attempting a chuckle* You should put a Kleenex warning on this thing.

Author's Response: Haha, duly noted!

Ok, I love Gin, but this... I'ts utterly annoying, it seems to be that she doesn't even know what she wants in her life, and for that she's wracking havoc in the lives of lots of people who don't deserve it (their children for example). She's starting to seem like the bad character of the movie, so please, update soon and give some reasons to not hate Gin or to think of her as an annoying and fickle woman, which we both know is not true.
Besies, it is a great story, mature, with lots of good things and very interesting to read. I really want to know what is coming next!

Iliana

Author's Response: I know, she can really drive people crazy because she seems so indecisive, but in a couple chapters, I promise that you'll know exactly why. And I'll update soon ;) Thanks for your review!

You nearly had me crying there at the end of the chapter, well done.

Wow! I love your story. I normally don't read stories
that aren't completed because I am so impatient
for updates, but I am so glad I read this. Feeling pretty sorry
for Rose though. Keep up the great work!

Author's Response: Well thank you so much! I usually never read uncompleted fics either and for the same reason so I'm very grateful to you for giving this one a go. Unfortunately the plot just keeps asking to be thickened and it's now going to be twenty-eight chapters (scary o_O) but never-fear, the next seven are already complete and just in the process of having Miss Opal beta-read them. So they will come, hopefully at about one per week... Maybe sooner if we're all lucky. Thank you so much for your review and I promise that all those extra chapters are there (in part) to make Rose much less sorry, ;) Thanks again! Rosalie

Wow, I love this story! You've done a fantastic job so far. I was surprised I liked this so much because I tend not to like fics that are actually fully compliant with the epilogue :p But you've kept everyone really in character, and made the kids awesome too. Keep up the great work!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like it so much, especially when fully compliant's not your style. Thanks so much for your review! I'll try and update with more on the kids soon. ;)

Aaah!! Why won't Ginny tell poor Draco ): I teared reading this chapter it's so heartbreaking for both Draco and Harry!! ): I hope they'll all be happy in the end? *hopeful smile*

Oh and I wanted to add, I seldom read D/G offspring fics but you've changed my mind bout them :) Thank you so much!

Author's Response: Your very welcome. I never had any idea that I was going to take the next generation this far, but they just kept clamouring for more screen time, you know? Now I'm very glad I did it, I'm not sure the story would be heading in the direction it is otherwise, and I love the family element. Yes, it is sad for both Draco and Harry but I am now promising that in... *thinks for a moment* in FOUR chapters, you will finally know exactly what Ginny's reason is. I swear it. Just finished writing all the ones in between that and they're being beta-ed but I can't wait to start typing up Ginny's secret because its a pretty bloody good one if I say so myself, ;) Thanks so much for your review! I'll try and update soon!

I actually got pretty annoyed at Ginny for refusing to tell Draco the reason she left. Such a chicken :P And she had to make him cry!

Author's Response: I know, its frustrating, I promise you'll find her reason very soon. She's courageous in the sense that she'll face down a duel with Bellatrix at the age of sixteen, but certain things are too hard for her to say to Draco or even to herself. In her own life she's a bit of a coward but her reason will explain that and I promise she doesn't stay that way. Thanks for your review! ;)

i'm sorry but i hate ginny. i cant even guess what her secret it. the only thing popping into my mind is that she got pregnant (maybe i've watched too many soaps lol) but i cant remember what she told rose so otherwise i'm completely blank as to what made her leave draco. and as for lily/scorpius/rose - thats a good triangle. i'm not sure who i should root for. good story and plot. update soon!

Author's Response: Thanks for your review and I understand that Ginny is certainly seeming whiny, frustrating, etc. She does have a very good reason you'll hear about the next time we see her. And no, lol, she didn't have a surprise pregnancy scandal or any such thing. Thanks again for reviewing and I'll try to update soon!

Augh- you are a horrible person for leaving me in such a state!
This is the only story- book or otherwise- to have me sincerely crying other than Harry Potter itself.
This is one- I'm sorry- THE BEST story I have read that claims to be a simple "fan fiction". This is no ordinary fan fiction, this is a REAL story with an unbelievable amount of depth. This story is nothing but unpredictable in the best way and heart-wrenching.
You are such a fantastic writer, really you are. I honestly can't believe how much I like this story- I have never read a story quite like this one.
Ah- anyway, I hope you plan to use the potential for this story for as long as possible =)
Thank you for the story, I bequeath to you my feelings of deepest animosity and impatience, in hopes that I needn't feel them anymore; at least until your next chapter arrives.

Author's Response: Well thank you so much! That was a glowing review and I truly loved reading it! I'm glad you like it so much and don't worry, because I do plan on using it's potential as you called it for a handful of more chapters, the plot bunnies just keep coming ;) Again thank you so much for your incredibly encouraging review!

Okay, something fishy is going on here. What is Ginny hiding?? You know, when you said a d/e moment, I was expecting high emotions but I wasn't expecting the angst. It was brilliantly written. If I'm complimenting you on your angst then you know you've captured the heart-breaking moment well. Will they ever get the closure they deserved? Ginny not saying anything doesn't accomplish anything. Is it really that bad that she's struggling to admit it to Draco? Again, I ask, what's going on??

Author's Response: Yes, unfortunately it really is that bad for her not to tell Draco. She has never told anyone but I do promise that she will find the courage to say it soon. Thank you so much for your review and I'll try to get the next one out as soon as possible!

I'm really hating you at this particular moment.
how could you do this with us?
how could ginny? she can't keep hurting Draco like this, poor thing! I've have already made up my mind, I'll keep him. Ginny must vanish from his life, I'm the one in charge now, I'll make his pain go away.
haahahaa
update ASAP

Author's Response: Haha, yes I'm sure you'll make him very happy. ;) I promise that Ginny has a reason for why she's hurting Draco. She isn't meaning to, she's just too afraid to really tell him what happened, much as she wants to and even intended to. However, it will come out soon enough. I promise ;) Until then, I hope you can somehow keep Draco, lol.

*sniff sniff*  Great, you made me cry.  I simply cant take the angst that much, first from Scropius/Lily/Rose now this Draco/Ginny/Harrry >_<  I know you said everyone will get the happy ending, but I really cant see it right now (or couldlnt bare anymore angst to go through this).  Ginny is a bit OOC in this chapter, while I can see realistic sense in this, but I just dont see Ginny being break down w/o even explaining why she left for Draco.

When draco said _ "there is always a choice", I just want to hug him.  B/c whenever someone told me that they have no choice - they are wrong.  There is ALWAYS a choice, no matter where you are and what you are doing.  For Ginny, What could possibly be worst than choosing b/w Harry or Draco?  Her family again?  Her status?  So 2 guys love her - great, but you have already painted a picture to us that she like/love draco more than Harry.  We see it, Draco see it in this chapter, even Harry - why cant she see it?  I am just really really angry at Ginny in this chapter.  I hate when people blame their mistakes on "I have no choice" BS.  The only choice we dont have is to choosing our parents, siblings or relatives b/c those are chosen by god.  The rest?  There is always a choice for you to choose. Stop blaming and start deciding - that's what I would tell ginny if I'm Draco;)

Author's Response: Haha, yes Draco should tell her just that for sure. And you are right in a sense, her 'not having a choice' still was a choice in a sense, albeit a very very hard one. More on that later though when she finally explodes and comes right out and says it. And yes there will be some more angst, though I do plan to tone it down just a bit. Nothing is as emotional as these last two chapters, oh and one in the future of course. But there will be a bit of an angst break, I promise.

Okay, Ginny is kind of getting on my nerves, being a 40 something year old little girl. What was she thinking going to see Draco after all that time & then.... Doing NOTHING!!!! I wanted to smack her a bit.

All those angry feelings aside, I want Draco & Ginny to be together. I don't approve of cheating, you said Harry & Astoria weren't going drop dead, so I don't know what's going to happen. But since this is dracoandginny.com, i'm sure you'll work it out! And I look forward to it!!

Author's Response: Such a good argument. This is indeed dracoandginny.com! And you're right, even I want to slap Ginny around BUT I SWEAR she will come clean with the truth and she will do something about Draco. Just need a few more gutwrenching situations to drag it out of her ;) Only kidding, they won't be too heart-wrenching, I hope. Thanks for your review!

Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Just like this chapter. =)

Author's Response: Thank you! I really, really appreciated your idea for the playlists, I've been listening to songs all day, just thinking and it's been wonderfully new and different from what I normally do. And just to let you know, Ginny is going to come clean. I cross my heart and hope to die with that promise. Now if only I can find a song... hmm... ;) Once again, thanks for your lovely idea! And yes, Amber is stupid, ah but look what good intentions will get you, sigh indeed. Thanks again!

First off, I think your fic is very well-written, & the fact that you're able to bridge 2 generations of HP characters very beautifully, is a testament of how good you are as a writer.

Having said that, your depiction of Draco & Ginny's romance confuses me. Part of me what's to feel sorry for their heartache, but then the logical side of my brain states that the fact that Ginny won't tell him the truth aggravates & insults whatever characterization you've made for both of them. You can't tug one's emotions like that on paper w/o justifying the cause of it. Sure, Ginny has her reasons, but for the reader, it could leave them distraught over the outcome. If that's what you're trying to do, then kudos to you -- but for me, it's leaving me feeling both angry & frustrated over how you intend to end this story, & still makes sense over their actions.

I'm sorry but part of me wants to continue on reading your fic, while the other wants me to let it go because you're just going around in circles w/ this "I can't tell you my secret" fiasco.

PS: I'm not insulting your fic in any way whatsoever -- I'm merely stating a point to other readers who personally don't want to have their emotions toyed w/ w/o proper reasoning. that's how insanely compelling your story is -- and I meant that as a compliment. :)

Author's Response: Well thanks for your review and as for Ginny jerking him around, I sincerely promise that I'm not going to leave readers in the dark on that. She is going to tell what really happened in a few chapters (once the kids are in a few). I'm sorry if it seems like I was intentionally frustrating readers by having her not admit to anything yet. It does come out I promise and there is a very good reason that she's so tight-lipped about it. I was telling another reviewer earlier that the reason she has should justify all of her possibly uncharacteristic tears and such and may even make her appear somewhat redeemable. Again, I hope I haven't caused too much frustration for you and if I have, I apologize. Thank you for pointing it out to me though, I do appreciate that. But again, I do promise it's not some reason that I just haven't put the effort into coming up with, she just honest to God hasn't got the courage to say anything to Draco. It will all come out though very soon. Again, thanks for your review and I hope you do continue with the story as its now so convuluted that it's sure to start wrapping itself up again. Thanks!
