Okay, I officially hate Harry. I mean, I can understand why he did it, but still. That's a low blow right there. I want to slap him.

Poor Ginny having to deal with that. I can just imagine how terrible it would have been for her, to have such a choice forced upon her.

*sighs* This story is so sad.

Author's Response: What I think is really terrible is that Ginny not only had to choose but had to live with her choice as well.

First of all I am glad that you didn't make this predictable. It's not Harry's fault or Draco or Ginny it is the circumstances that they live in is creating all the drama. On top of this all add the children who have fallen in love with each other. Sometimes all you need is closure and since no one got it, they all are stuck in a limbo. Love how you are writing this and I hope that the end of the story is everything that I hope but unexpect, I know this is a contradictory statement but this is the reaction I get when I read your story. Can't wait read the next part!

Author's Response: Why thank you! I'm so glad to hear that it's unexpected but I do hope to meet your expectations at the same time! Hope you like the rest, it'll be out soon!

So....This is kinda all Harry's fault. I can't wait to see what happens when Harry and Ginny finally do talk. I don't think that he would believe anything that she said anyway.

Draco is really regreating things now. I really do feel bad for him. Good Luck with the next chapter! :)

Author's Response: Thank you very much! And I'll get it posted quite soon!

I was reading this chapter quietly to myself and I had to stop several times because I was crying. My mother ended up coming over to ask me what was wrong. I love the story behind Ginny leaving Draco! I've never liked Harry much. Thanks always!

Author's Response: Oh I'm glad you liked it, and sorry your mom had to check on your tears, I know what that's like, though my mom always seems to stop by when I'm laughing too hard to breathe, that's always fun to try and explain away. Thanks so much for your review!

This chapter is definitely your best yet! It's amazing to see how brilliantly-written the scenes are, & how brutally-honest you've conveyed all their emotions.

This is a classic example that you must take full responsibility over the actions you do. It's frustrating that fate was never on their side, but that's how life really is. Maybe their love was never meant to be in the 1st place, & such tragedies are better left accepted. Do I want them to get back together? Hard to say really, but what good would it do to both of them, and to their families? No matter how you write this, there will never be "happily-ever after" for them.

As for Lily & Scorpius, the scars of the past will forever haunt their future, but only time will tell if their love is strong enough to overcome this.

Your story is very heart-wrenching! I applaud your efforts in bring romantic angst to a whole new level! Hope this won't be your last angst fic bec lady, you are GOOD!

Author's Response: Thank you! I do have another fic actually that was just in the DG fic exchange, just haven't found the time to update it yet, ;) I will soonish. And as for 'happily-ever-afters' well just say that the angst will lessen by the end and everyone will have a good ending if not the Disney version ;) Thanks so much for your glowing review!

My heart just broke into pieces reading this.... how the hell do you do this so well Rosalie???
More than the story, it's the way to write it is what is so great about the whole thing....I am talking about the little little things...
... Like the way you described Ginny's musings in the coffee shop, how she observes the Muggles running from the rain and how she would feel superior about the fact that she could Apparate, but now she felt nothing....
Ginny in the kitchen, with the messy kitchen-counter...Draco ,looking helpless, hurt as she leaves, unable to comprehend why she would do such a thing, the release form lying crumpled, forgotten on the floor..and the sacrifice that went in it..
Draco, as he watches the ceiling above him, reminiscing....
Ginny, observing that it isn't raining anymore as she reaches home, the cheerful welcome mat...making a mockery of the whole situation..
Harry...hurt, drunk,accusing..
Ginny in the shower, the last notes of the piano....and many more...
It's all those beautiful details and the nuances and complexities of emotions that you write about matters more to me than the story itself...
I have loved all your chapters, but by far this is the best chapter...the crown jewel among jewels...
You need a weeny bit of polishing and you should be ready to write your own novel....We need sensitive writers like you, after the kind of 'bestseller' trash that readers are subjected to..
I agree whole-heartedly with your Mom...afterall, mothers know the best :)
Once again, thank you for this delightful, bitter-sweet,beautifully written story...It won't be easy getting over it... just as Draco and Ginny can't get over each other...

Author's Response: Oh I am so pleased that you noticed all those small details! I loved incorporating them. I like vividity. ;) And thanks so much with the novel comment. I am thinking of one actually, have it all mapped out just no time (of course) Hopefully I'll have the next chapter out soon! Again, I'm so glad you liked this!

Oh! This is so beautiful and such a nice explanation for how things turned out the way they did. Oddly I can't bring myself to hate Harry or Ginny or Draco for their actions or omissions and all I feel is dreadfully sorry for them that things didn't get unravelled.

I didn't think I would be satisfied with an explanation for Ginny's behaviour but this is probably as close to satisfying as you can get! I sincerely hope that slowly things will pick-up and that now that some of the secrets have come out, the characters can move on with their lives.

Author's Response: You know what? I honestly can't bring myself to hate any of the characters either. They all tried dealing with the hand they were dealt and this is how convoluted everything turned out. I'm very glad that you think this satisfactorly explains all of Ginny's not-so-Ginny behavior. And yes, I'm hoping the characters do begin to move on. This is sort of another turning point in the story, so we'll see what happens... Thanks so very much for your review!

Holy shit. That was the most amazing thing I've ever read. That is perfect. Everything fits together and- you know you're like freaking JK Rowling over here.
IT'S SO SAD!!! I was so excited when I saw this post was up. And now I'm sad I've already read it. hahaha.
GOD, you've made everything is SO perfect. This is just great. I really honestly can't wait to see what happens next- I'm quite anxious...
Anyway, you're magic and everything is wonderful.

Author's Response: Thank you! Your compliments always make me blush (with happiness I'll admit, I do love a good clap on the back, lol) I'm so glad you like the story and I hope you'll continue to as it progresses. ;)

Ok, so now all of us will give you permission to hurt that good for nothing Harry. I kind of figured he did something like this to get Ginny to leave Draco. You played it out very well! Can't wait for the next update!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'll try and get the next one out soon as possible!

Harry is a horrible asshole and it would thrill me to no end if you had him jump off a very tall building. I notice he's been able to trick himself into believing, for all these years, that he didn't "force" Ginny into anything. Whatever. I hate him now.

Author's Response: *nods* Yep, now it all makes sense. I still don't see Harry as 'evil' or anything but what he did was undoubtably reprehensible. Writing his character, I kind of understand the why he did what he did but you are absolutely right in saying it was awful. And it was. Now lets just see what happens... ;)

Omg! Now I understand what Ginny meant when she said what Harry had done to her... how could he? Though I do recognize that she should've picked between them, he should've never forced her to pick while holding Draco's father's trial over her head - that's too much for her to carry. Thankfully, you've made me dislike Harry again (I thought I was losing it :P), lol.

I really can't wait to see where this goes, and who Ginny ends up with in the end. Update soon!

Author's Response: Oh good, lol. Now its all just a big jumbled mess, isn't it. Nobody ever did the right thing all the time and though no one is 'evil' per se, they all have their own shadowy secrets. Thanks so much for your review and I'll update when I get the chance!
