"One line, visible only to one man, was etched beneath the engraving. Wherever I am, there you are also."Category: Completed Short Stories
This is by far the most beautiful Draco/Ginny relationship that I have read about....
I truly have no words to write...
It was beyond perfect. You have managed to touch something deep within with this story...
Author's Response: Thank you. Like I said over int he forum, I'm really glad I got the emotion across to the reader, especially the emotion that I myself was feeling while writing it. It's kind of bittersweet.
Draco is looking for an engagement ring for Astoria, but is it really what he wants? Ginny will help him find out...Category: Long and Completed
Wow! I love the air of mystique that you provide to your writing.....
You are one of the few 'elegant' writers I know and the stories so intricate and I simply admire the research that you put in...
Please tell me that you are going to update this story soon.....
I just love the 'feel' of this story.... can't wait for more.... I just love the Draco-ginny dynamic in this one, made more complex by the fact that Draco indeed is serious about Astoria as opposed to the convenient situations in stories where Draco is probably forced or it being a marriage of convenience...you completely discarded that assumption in here...
Ginny gets in over her head when she's unsatisfied by Auror Malfoy's handling on the serial killings that have been sweeping through women her age after one of her close friends is killed. She takes it upon herself to find the killer, never expecting to be putting herself in his sights.Category: Works in Progress
Very well written... a promising beginning... one doesn't come across many mystery fics in the D/G ship so I am glad to see your story and can't wait to read more soon...But Oh my God! you killed Luna... :(
When Ginny Weasley agrees to help restore an old theater for charity, the last person she expects to find there is Draco Malfoy.Category: Long and Completed
Wow! this is one of the sweetest fics that I have read in a long long time :) It just made me smile so much . Thank you!
All the characters, especially Draco were sooo adorable...
I wish to read more of this story....
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it!
They looked perfect, too perfect. To the casual passerby, it may have looked as though a master craftsman had merely left two, lifelike statues lying in the snow - AU, Ron contemplates two of Wars casualties. Implied DG, rated for character death.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh my God! how did you write that????
It's I dunno.....I have no words to describe the feeling that you have generated..... You have so beautifully captured the beauty of grief......the beauty of the sadness caused by the death of two perfect lovers...it was just incredible, i just can't get over it.....and your originality is apparently in the way you have written it from Ron's POV...which definitely is a first... I loved Ron in this...my heart broke for him towards the end when he says, 'I tried to make them perfect'..
Thank you very very much for that brilliantly written beautiful piece...
I hope to read more of your work...
I hope you would write something happy for a change yeah? :)
Author's Response: Thank you for the lovely review! It's such a relief that people seem to /so far/ enjoy it from Ron's perspective. I do actually have a hunerous oneshot that I'm debating posting here to, but we shall see!! Thanks again! MTL
Ginny doesn't recognize the room she wakes up in. The same cannot be said for the man she wakes up next to. If only she could remember what happened the night before.Category: Long and Completed
I LOVE PEACHES *smirks*
Author's Response: Lol, so does Draco. ;)
Some wars never end. A dive into the past reveals how theirs began.Category: Long and Completed
Winner Best Kiss, Best Interpretation of Prompt, and Mod's Choice in the 2009 D/G Fic Exchange on LJ. Written for fallingskyes.
This is sooo beautifully written! *sigh* great job at capturing The Hallowed Draco Ginny chemistry! I loved your analogy about the wood and fire...very very deep and describes their relationship perfectly.
I just love the way you have written Luna, possibly the best Luna that I have read in years.
My favourite part is of their childhood though, their interactions were beautifully written...and I especially loved the way you described young Draco with slicked hair resembling a drowned cat Lol! Also kudos to you for writing Astoria's character so well :)
All in all, a fresh and novel attempt and very thoughtful with a twist . Loved it for sure! *big grin*
Author's Response: :D I think I like the short Deathly Hallows part best. I don't know, I kind of like Draco beaten down like that, which is why I was so disappointed when his character wasn't redeemed in DH. :( I'm glad you liked it! Thanks so much!
"The next morning she awoke to a red rose laid carefully on the pillow beside her. Once a sign of his love, now the ruby petals stood only as a symbol of his betrayal."Category: Completed Short StoriesJust in time for Halloween, a horror story examining the ways betrayal and repressed pain can warp and twist the heart and mind. Not a story for the light of heart.
Two words... Beautifully Dark... It takes a lot to write something like this...so eerily beautiful.. Surprisingly, the grotesqueness was fitting... You have introduced a never before thought of element to the D/G dynamic...kudos to you... I do appreciate the dark side of the human psyche...it exists , even in the best of us.. although we think it convenient to pretend that it doesn't. My award goes to you for uniqueness.. and your vivid imagination... I will remember this story for a long long time. This story truly defies all description..
When a potion goes horribly wrong, Professor Snape is transformed and seemingly trapped in his fifteen-year-old body. Much to his disgust he finds himself enrolled into Harry Potter's fifth year, forced to hide his true identity. Girls, drama and teenage angst do not bode well with Severus. [written pre-OotP]Category: Works in Progress
This is one of the most innovative and well written stories that i have come across so far...It's perfectly done.
The Snape-Draco-Ginny dynamic is unique and splendid. You have captured all aspects of Snape's dilemma and the blossoming romance between Draco and ginny so poignantly and beautifully..Hats off to you for thinking of such a brilliant concept.
This story is definitely one of my all time favourites
Ginny is one of the few surviving Weasleys after the War. With little money to her name, she has been working a low end job at a nearby restaurant to pay for her Healer training. It's been a long four years, but she has finally made it and earned her license. Problem is: there's only one position available, and the very idea of it is appalling. Slightly AU.Category: Long and Completed
Wow! I am really liking this . This is an interesting angle...I like it when things are not rushed between Draco and Ginny...but I definitely feel sorry for the Weasleys though...
Can't wait to read the next... :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I know, I hated having them all be dead for this... -sigh-
Damn! I was really looking forward to a Blaise Ginny scene... just for that, you don't get any cookies I had specially baked *pouts*
Author's Response: Oh dear! I do love cookies! I hope I can earn them back in future. Like, maybe in chapter 8....
I love the Draco/Ginny dynamic in this you know and they are so stubborn and child-like which is super cute . I wait for an update each time .
This was well written, I loved the way you described Ginny's hair,it's such an important part of her personality.
The only problem with this chapter was that it was short :(
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Sorry about the length; was a bit under the weather... I'll do better next time, I promise! ;)
You know I love this story and I love you more because of your super-quick updates. You win 1500 brownie points for keeping us happy ^_^
Every chapter keeps getting more and more interesting. And I love the way you have written Draco...a little awkward , impulsive and clueless about women. Usually, we read super suave Draco who can charm the knickers off any woman before you can say 'Expelliarmus' . So it's nice to see this cute, awkward version of Draco. And it's ok, I won't kill you for this ending, coz this is Draco and Ginny we are talking about...it has to be a lil messed up,right?
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm very glad you like it! And you're so right about Draco and Ginny being a little messed up by default lol!
Ginny Weasley was on a mission: get Draco Malfoy's attention or die trying. She would prefer to skip the dying part, though…Category: Long and Completed

I wuvv it *giddy feeling*
ginny reminds me of me when I was her age and crushing over this guy and I had put on some make up I think and the end result was disastrous....
Your story made me smile...can't wait for an update :)
Author's Response: *laughs* Well, I'm glad it made you smile. That's what I'm aiming for here. I just wanted to write something light-hearted and cute.
Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy are on a downward spiral, religiously speaking.Category: Completed Short Stories
So. THIS is THE story :P
"Ginny is –green.
Well, it’s not quite that simple. You see, the truth of the matter is that Ginny is actually –well, she’s green."
I was sold at the first few lines itself :D
It sounds like a great idea and I loved how sweet Ginny is .
Can't wait to read more hun :)
Author's Response:
Yes. THE story. *significant eyebrows*
Haha, I'm glad you liked it. More's on the way.
When Ginny's life goes to hell, she seeks solace in cake. Draco helps take her mind off her problems in an unusual way.Category: Completed Short Stories
Delicious.
I nearly DIED
You have given me some good ideas ;)
My birthday is in a week. Gotta find Draco :P
It's always a pleasure reading your fics :)
Author's Response: Thank you. I hope you find someone fun to *share* your birthday cake with.
Both hands toyed with the envelope, flipping it over and over again. After a few moments, she ripped open the top of the envelope, finally tired of her own hesitance. A black and white picture slipped onto the floor, yellow around the edges from years of hiding in some wayward shoebox.Category: Completed Short Stories
Draco Malfoy. Draco Malfoy was her next hit.
Oh my God! I have no words really. Brilliantly done. I had a completely different picture of what this story would be when I read the summary. It was so full of twists and turns, kept the reader guessing till the end. I knew the ending would be something unexpected, infact, I thought that probably Ginny might die ,but Draco.... Well, tragic D/G is as beautiful as a happy D/G but still, it does break my heart to see Draco die in a fic :(
All in all, great work. Keep it up :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much!
Draco realizes that some things that are broken can never be fixed.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is certainly going down on my list of all time D/G classics. Brilliantly written. Full justice done to evil Draco. In the end I was "He deserves that " And I liked the abrupt and open ending. I suppose he will die a slow death in despair and guilt of his actions. I think for the first time somebody has made us hate Draco so convincingly. Yes, happy endings are always preferred more but its stories like these that stay with you for long.Once again, great job Ann! Very mature writing.
Author's Response: *blushes* Thanks. I think you might be the first person to actually enjoy the ending, well not enjoy, but accept it. A lot of people want a sequel, which I don't really mind giving them. But I'm afraid they won't like that either. :S It's a conundrum. I was about to yell at you for not being on the forum but then I haven't been around lately either so I can't do that. Thanks for the reviews and for feeding my ego. It was getting hungry.
Can the love of snarkiness bring two people together?Category: Completed Short Stories
Wonderfully done! I loved the plot for its freshness, also the insults were pretty wicked ;) I loved how all of it ended on such a sweet note :) The whole "I specially made the card and carried it for 3 months.." line made me go Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww
The post-war world is hardly the utopia it claims to be. Freedom is an illusion, and getting into the good graces of those with power takes precedence over morals. In this unhappy world, can Ginny, forced into a marriage of convenience, find happiness? And does she know the people around her as well as she thinks?Category: Works in Progress
A promising start. :)
I must say that the name had me confused for a while :|
Author's Response: Oops, sorry for any confusion lol. And yay, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for reviewing!
Add one fairy godmother, a randy prince, glass slippers, a conniving redhead, and a rather distressed Draco Malfoy. Mix it together and you've got one very twisted fairy tale.Category: Completed Short Stories
Brilliantly done! I marvel at the sheer ingenuity and simplicity of the premise.A fairy tale with a twist indeed and I love how you have capitalised on Draco's 'prettiness' :P Very refreshing to read . Short ,sweet yet packed with wholesome DG Goodness ^_^ This made me smile , in the midst of doing a job that I hate . Kudos to you!
Author's Response: Ah, these are my favourite kind of reviews. As a person who fully sympathises in needing those distractions from work, I am honoured to have been of service to you with my small DG offering. ^_^
Have you ever wondered why Draco slicks back his hair or why he always looks so perfectly presented? Well, this is the answer.Category: Completed Short Stories
I really liked the premise, Draco seems like a cert OCD case :P I liked the detailing and characterisations and the overall flow of the story. An interesting take indeed. Can't wait for the next :) I hope you shall update soon.
P.S : I was just wondering, shouldn't it be 'cool down' instead of 'warm down'?
Author's Response: Thanks for the review - umm, I have always called it a 'warm down'. I don't know if thats just me (cause sometimes I do weird things like that - tehe) or what it is actually called. You're probably right as that makes way more sense - thank you for telling me.
Draco Malfoy hated Christmas, so why was everyone calling him Santa Claus?Category: Completed Short Stories
~~*~~
"Do you think it's Santa?" a voice whispered from the shadows.
"He doesn't look like Santa," a snotty voice retorted. "Santa is supposed to be fat and bearded and wear red suits. This man looks like a skinny rat. And he doesn't have a beard."
"A skinny rat?" Draco mouthed to himself, feeling his ire rise.
"But he did come through the chimney," the first voice insisted. "I heard him."
"Well, if that's Santa, then I must be a flying reindeer."
Aww!!! This was the perfect Christmas fic in every little way. I loved the situations and characterisations and really appreciate how you have infused quality content in short chapter , included all the essential elements, and rounded off everything so nicely, although we don't have much of a back-story of the characters. This was simple, sweet and smells of freshly baked goodies on Christmas ^_^ definitely put a smile on my face and a memorable and touchy story :)Thanks a lot Kim for sharing your heartfelt, quality writing with us shippers! Cheers on the New Year!!
Author's Response: This story ended up waaaaay longer than I intended, but I had fun with it, and that's really what counts for me. I'm glad you liked it and managed to get that Christmas feel. I really wanted to keep it at that 'heart-warming' level rather than having it be particularly romantic. I hope that came through. ^_^
What do you do with all the time in the world? Draco and Ginny are stuck in a loop of everlasting Tuesdays, in which they discover that there is such a thing as too much time on your hands.Category: Long and Completed
Written for Incognito in the DG Forum Fic Exchange - Winter 2010 and winner of Best Chaptered Fic Overall.
This keeps getting curioser and curioser. You are a master story-teller. I check for an update everyday. Can't wait to see where all of this is leading to. You are spot on with the characterizations and your scene-set ups are a delight to read. Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! I'm glad you're enjoying the story! :D
Draco's failing at the mission given to him by the Dark Lord, his relationship with Pansy is strained, and Snape won't stop asking questions. He needs help desperately, but when he receives it, he's drawn into more intrigue than he bargained for. His saviour may need some saving herself.Category: Long and Completed
I loved this fic so much that I have half the mind to stalk you relentlessly till you upload a sequel :|
Author's Response: My very own stalker? Does this mean I'm...FAMOUS?? But seriously, thank you. This story's not for everyone so I'm always thrilled to hear that someone likes it.
